If you've been keeping track of the patch notes, you'll know that patch 2.4 will be bringing a truckload of changes to the World of Warcraft. One of the changes include the tweaks to the warlock spell, the Ritual of Summoning, and well, some players have found that the spell is bugged on the Public Test Realm (PTR).

The Ritual of Summoning requires a soul shard and allows the warlocks to summon other players to where ever the summoner is. The said spell is only restricted from use within the instances, but with the WoW patch 2.4, that restriction is going to be dropped.

Anyway, players on the WoW Forums have reported a problem with the spell's new tooltip since it doesn't say that the spell requires a soul shard. According to Blizzard QA Hortus, there's a bug in the tooltip (since the spell still takes a soul shard) and "Ritual of Summoning should require a soul shard." There you have it. Just a little heads up for those who are trying out the patch on the PTR.
