World of Warcraft Fire Festival buff not a bug, says Blizzard - Spitfire - 02-26-2008 In MMORPGs, it's only natural that players would encounter bugs of different kinds. As for Faen from the Aggramar realm in World of Warcraft, he posted one of this concern regarding the game's current Fire Festival event. In his post, Faen said that he rode his warrior out of Darnassus towards the inland. When he got out of the gates, he instantly got a buff from the Fire Festival, which gave him a 700 damage proc. Faen then rode back into Darnassus but the buff disappeared. When he rode out again, he was able to get the same buff. In addition to this mysterious disappearing act of the buff, Faen noted that he tested his character's stat stacking mechanic. He found out that it showed his stats were abnormal. To clarify things in what seems to be a really confusing event, Blizzard Community Manager Hortus said, " This is not a bug, this is part of the fire festival event." Well, having that said, not all extraordinary things found in the game are bugs. As for this particular report, it's only one of the few things featured in the game's Fire Festival event.
