Here's a quick heads-up for the guys who may have had trouble logging into their World of Warcraft server. Blue-poster Drysc dropped by the WoW forums earlier to announce that they've initiated rolling restarts for some of the MMO's servers to address an issue that kept some instances from starting properly.

Drysc noted that the following realms have been affected:
  • Arathor
  • Bonechewer
  • Dragonmaw
  • Eldre'Thalas
  • Firetree
  • Frostmane
  • Gurubashi
  • Nathrezim
  • Scarlet Crusade
  • Shadow Council
  • Shadowsong
  • Silvermoon
  • Skywall
  • Smolderthorn
  • Spirestone
  • Terenas
  • Windrunner
If the restarts go well, your world shouldn't be down for longer than 20 minutes. Drysc hasn't made any updates lately regarding how the restarts are going, so we advise the people to stay alert. You may also want to check on Drysc's announcement via the read link for extra details as it may have already occurred on your server.
