IMHO Sting's is safer at least right now.

Mousepad=mass ban
stings lite=no recorded ban of anyone using it so far.
I mean you can take your chances and try and prove me wrong, but there are hundreds of people who used both and got banned for using mousepad.

um, check the website, and what people say about mousepad. Ask those people who were banned for using it. I have not heard anyone for being banned using stings lite.

Meanwhile the Underdog "stings" Took over the maphacking Circuit by providing ban free maphacking, assuming you dont inject plugin
