Yellow Minerals - Ares - 03-10-2008 So I was reading a few articles on StarCraft2 and I found out they are going to be having Yellow Minerals. At first I was surprised and kinda questioned it, why have different color minerals but as I kept reading each mineral harvest from the yellow mineral is 12 instead of the normal 8. There are only a few placed on certain maps as well. This will increase the strategy required for victory, I dunno I just thought it was kinda cool.
