I am kind of soliciting opinions about what others, who have possibly played both Morrowind and Oblivion, might think in comparing the two.
They're both very similar and very different in many ways , but overall I wasn't all that impressed with Oblivion and am going back to Morrowind.

I played morrowind on the computer when it cam out, when I got bored I played with the construction set just about as much. When it came out on xbox I bought the goty edition and it was just as amazing. I spent countless hours playing that game...no joke, it was like an addiction.
Oblivion...I bought on the 360. It was ok; played two chars through the game, once more for the story and then to finish the achievements (glitched on my first char and never got the second to highest spot for mage guild). Sold it to a friend after that.
I don't think I could go back to morrowind but I spent a lot more time on it and found it to be much more entertaining.

Oblivion is better than Morrowind in almost every way...yet Morrowind feel so much more open and free. I had a lot more fun with Morrowind.

Dunno couldn't get into either of them but if I had to pick one it would be oblivion.

I've played both, back in the days of my original xbox i bought the GOTY edition and played that, find it alright but not that great.
Then i bought oblivion on PC which i played right through and loved it (except for those damn oblivion gates). So im going to have to say Oblivion>Morrow Wind.

i played morrowind and oblivion at exactly the same time so to me it's a no brainer, oblivion was wayyy better. same general feel and looks a lot better.
