World of Warcraft: Rolling restarts announced for today (March 28) - NewsDude - 03-28-2008 You may want to read this, just in case you haven't been online over at the World of Warcraft forums recently. Blizzard CM Bornakk visited the WoW forums earlier to announce that Blizzard would be implementing a series of rolling restarts for the realms, starting at 5:00 a.m. PDT. As a reminder, the restarts will cause the servers to go down for roughly 15 minutes each. You may want to reschedule whatever plans you had for that time window. The entire process will last for about an hour, so all the realms should be good to go by 6:00 a.m. or later. We further remind the readers to be extra careful even after the restarts kicks in. Given that patch 2.4 was just recently launched, the restarts may address numerous issues you may not have noticed previously. Drop by again in case we receive any more updates regarding this matter.
