Random Mind Dumpings - Warslut - 11-25-2008 If there was a color no one had ever seen... what would it be like... Random Mind Dumpings - Skye - 11-26-2008 Nex Wrote:Does math's post make sense to anyone besides himself? I can answer this right now for you. No. Absolutely not. Random Mind Dumpings - Blue - 11-26-2008 Skye Wrote:Do people that have been blind from birth have dreams? Well then I'll answer this. Although I don't vividly remember the answer, they do dream. Just in a different way. Blind people were asked this so it is true that they dream. Random Mind Dumpings - FraterPerdurabo - 11-26-2008 My hovercraft is full of eels. Random Mind Dumpings - hellsing293 - 11-26-2008 Blue Wrote:The other "rays" that arnt in the visible spectrum? Yes. We can detect these rays but not actually see them. So basically there are colors that we cannot see. It's almost uncomprehendable to imagine a new color because anything you imagine would simply be a transformation of another color that you have seen before. On this note, what if an experiment was conducted. This is something that I've always wanted to do (although it would be cruel in a way): 1) Take a newborn baby into a monochromatic environment (skin color) before they seen any other color. 2) Place no mirrors in the environment and make EVERYTHING skin color or other colors perceptible on the body. (color the food/only serve certain food, furniture, etc.) 3) Make the person live in a monochromatic world for 10-15 years. 4) One day, blindfold the subject and walk them outside. Rip off their blindfold and observe their reaction. OR 1) Make somebody wear some sort of ocular device that filtered colors into black/white and do the same thing. Anyways, before revealing the colors to this person, ask them to imagine colors that they haven't seen (but we have). Maybe their guesses would enlighten people as to what to imagine for imperceptible colors. Color blind people aren't as good because most of them do see the majority of the colors. Spoonman, I have pondered the thought of a new color many times, often randomly, and was thinking of posting the idea before I read your response. Random Mind Dumpings - Mathalamus - 11-26-2008 why do people seem perpetually hostile to me? Random Mind Dumpings - Blue - 11-26-2008 Mathalamus Wrote:why do people seem perpetually hostile to me? Tradition. Random Mind Dumpings - Skye - 11-26-2008 Tradition, yes. And, you're a nub. We should make this into a Q&A thread. Random Mind Dumpings - Blue - 11-26-2008 Skye Wrote:Tradition, yes. Random Mind Dumpings - Mathalamus - 11-26-2008 more random the better? forget it id drive people to suicide because my thoughts are the defination of random. Random Mind Dumpings - schmidz - 11-26-2008 Ruin-Tumult Wrote:What is half of XII? The answer= VII. {split the XII in half horizontally inbetween the points} I disagree... if you split it horizontally then both of the "I"s would be split it half, creating just one I, therefore you'd git VI ![]() anyway.. Do carrots have a consciousness? Random Mind Dumpings - Zerobanshee - 11-26-2008 i'll answer your carrot question. Carrots once had a consiousness, but this was prior to the Carrot-Spinach War. Before humans had enough intelligence to decipher a fart from a dust particle, The Carrots were the intelligent sentient species of Earth. They, in turn, created Spinach, a wierd crossbreed of broccoli and Green Beans. Spinach, like many created subjects, in turn rebelled to the Carrots, seeking leadership and total freedoms. Carrots, in their despiration {carrots were sissies when it came to fighting}, dropped an I-Bomb on the Spinach {an idiot bomb}. This made Spinach into vegetables {hehe, get it?}, yet the side effects of the nuclear waves made carrots dumb. So, no, carrots do not have consiousnesses anymore. How can dreams be truly defined? Are defined dreams by sight, sound, by the meanings, or by other means? Random Mind Dumpings - Nethran - 11-26-2008 One time I ate the largest block of cheese, and all of the small French children began starving, but were regular. |
