new rule suggestion. - Mathalamus - 01-02-2009

i want to suggest a new rule to this forum.

i want the rule: no hacks for median mod will be allowed since this mod is designed to do away with cheating, not invite more cheats to it. im sure someone will agree with me, even if it sounds..wrong.

Let's do away with all hacks together, since warden was made to do away with all cheating.

Cheating on median is like smoking, its stupid and retarded, but it's not my right to tell people to stop.

new rule suggestion. - Mathalamus - 01-02-2009

apparently laz manged to enforce that right. and win. and besides, this is a hacking community, doing away with hacks will seriously decline BZS influence on the internet.

new rule suggestion. - Siris - 01-02-2009

I say cheat away. It is a matter of personal prefrence. Who are you to say do away with the median mods. Does it bother you if someone else does it? What does it matter??

new rule suggestion. - Mathalamus - 01-02-2009

well laz has a really effective way of making people stop hacking. and plus no median hacks = less hackers = laz is happy.

new rule suggestion. - Nethran - 01-02-2009

Wtf is Laz? Also, using hack on closed bnet has recently proved to be a bad idea. Open, however, is where a lot of people like to be, and it's fun to expirament with hacks. So hacks stay. >Sad If people wanna risk them on closed, let 'em get the banhammer, since it's their choice.

I thought I was in Tech forum there for a second, since I have no idea what any of you are saying.Cheating is not the same as game enhancement.EVEN then...cheating is a choice, and making a rule like that will stop no one,so what is the point?

new rule suggestion. - Mathalamus - 01-03-2009

i didnt mean to stop hacks, just not have hacks meant for mods (median) not posted here

new rule suggestion. - Siris - 01-03-2009

Why. Do you use it?? Even so Does it affect you if someone else uses it???? How long as Diablo II been out now?? Long enough where the regular game is boring. It's just a little new spice to an old pie.

new rule suggestion. - Mathalamus - 01-03-2009

i dont use it. even median is boring now.

new rule suggestion. - SilverTears - 01-03-2009

This is a hacking forum. Don't like it, leave. Simple Smile

new rule suggestion. - Mathalamus - 01-03-2009

im not leaving because of a section that is mostly useless now. im staying.

new rule suggestion. - SilverTears - 01-03-2009

Wow. Then stfu about it. you made a pointless thread again.

new rule suggestion. - Nethran - 01-03-2009

Not useless. We now know that Siris doesn't like old pie.

Well, I wouldn't say it was a completely pointless thread. I do know where Math is coming from, and I have seen the frustration Laz faces in those who decide to use hacks for Median.

Unfortunately, as others have said, Blizzsector is a forum that does host hacks and files like that. Even as much as people like Math (and I) may hate that there have been Median hacks posted here, there can't really be anything done about stopping people from posting them, as they technically have the right to do so (assuming they aren't dirty downloads). Rather, those who post them should just understand that, unlike Blizzard, Laz may actually care about what people are doing with his game, and posting such hacks may halt the progress of the Median series.
