when xbox users start replacing them xbox's with ps3s. ALmost everyone in my school owns xbox. about 10 i've heard of actually wish they had a ps3 after owning the xbox and having to get a new one like 3 times.

Are you serious Math? 360 is known for it's title. A lot of the games are just killer. Although, like 99% of em are "M" rated.

That's an untrue statement, Math. If they were addictive to you, it would be because you liked them. You might as well say you hate ice cream because it tastes good. It's an oxymoron.
Oh, I almost forgot. My brother-in-law Cody bought a 360 back in like.. April of '06. He had to get it repaired a few months later because he got the Red Ring, and then he sold it for something else.
I got my 360 in about March of '07 and had to send it in because I got the Red Ring about 4 months after I bought it. They sent me a new console and it'd been fine for a while.
My brother-in-law Jake got one and had to send his in 2 months after buying it.
Just recently, I'd say 4 days ago or so, my 360 started not reading disks. I'd click "Open tray" on the dashboard and put in Fable 2 and then hit "Close Tray" and it would say "Reading" for about 10 seconds and then go back to saying "Open Tray". Needless to say, I was pissed. My warranty was up for everything but the Red Ring and it was going to cost me $99 to send it in. Last time I sent it in it was gone for a little over a month, and that would use up the rest of both mine and my wife's Xbox Live, which I was against. I opened the thing up and it turns out that my disk wasn't spinning. It was trying hard, but it wasn't spinning. I have to help it for about 5 minutes whenever I turn my 360 back on now in order to get it going, which is bullshit. I did some research and this, which has been dubbed the "Open Tray Problem," is fairly common. Even with Elites it's not uncommon. I just think that Xbox is more about making money than about using quality, long-lasing hardware. Shit, I mean, I 've had my PS2 for years without a problem, and my PS3 and Wii have yet to have an issue. If Xbox didn't get the good exclusives, I'd sell the damn thing and be done with it. Unfortunately I'm a fan of Gears, Halo, Oblivion, Lost Planet, Fable 2, and a few others.
Once Playstation gets it together, though, I might have to think about it harder.

The Wii is for old people and people who are very, very bored. The games are *too* casual. I think the target audience is completely different, but kudos to them for hitting a demographic that was hesitant to enter into the world of gaming.
I just don't think that the Wii counts the same way as the other two consoles.

I have owned a reg 360 and have had a few problems with it. Then I picked me up an elite and haven't had a single problem. I like the xbox cause it hwas way more and better titles. don't think I'll switch but who knows.

Ok my 2 cents *just go with it* I have bought all game systems for all 3 of my kids..XBox 360 live is incredable...I mean those games RULE...but YES a lot of people have issues with the f.ucker just crashing and having to repair it.
It is an investment and hard to give up.
So they fix the damn box...when other game systems step up to the freaking plate on what people can plaY...Yah..I am seeing LOTS moving to a better device.

Edit: After having reviewed my library of Xbox titles, they are mostly 1080p and 1080i. Still, though, that's the developer's choice, not the system. The system's capabilities are definitely higher than the 360. I think that if they'd come out at the same time and the playstation was a tiny bit less expensive, the xbox wouldn't have gotten the games it did and it wouldn't be in the position that it's in.

Why the X-Box hate? Sure the PS3's hardware is superior to the 360, but does that make the 360 an inferior platform? No, it delivers in other ways. I mean X-Box Live vs. Playstation Home? Is that even a fair comparison? Home is terrible...and Sony's online services have always been fairly sub-par while Microsoft continues to offer great online services (Streaming Netflix? **** yeah).
[Edit] P.S. Final Fantasy XIII is coming out on X-Box 360 as well.

I do like the xbox, but they honoustly should be built better, and i dislike the controller. THe button layout is grate except for the r and l buttons (not triggers) infact i prefer it to the ps controller. but that stupid battery pack is so annyoing.

Besides, the only thing I regret about my 360 is the mics. They break by the dozen. I the system repaired for free though. All four/five times.

The hardware runs all of it's online features just fine Math. In fact, one major thing that makes the PS3 subpar is all of it's untapped potential. It could be the greatest multi-media center ever created, instead it's a big box with pretty visuals that happens to play Blu-Ray movies. Developers on the 360 have been pushing the limits constantly and taking it to new heights people thought it could never reach...
The probably with the PS3 isn't the system itself, it's the software.

Home is not terrible. I play it from time to time and it's fun. Not to mention it's an ongoing project and new stuff is added all the time.
I don't have anything against the system, just Microsoft's quantity over quality bullshit. They push out consoles by the millions and don't give a shit if they'll break. I mean, hell, people are still getting the Red Ring of Death. Wtf is up with that? If they'd bothered to find the problem, it wouldn't happen anymore.
I will agree that the OS for the Xbox is better than the Playstation in some regards, especially with the way they integrated Xbox Live into the dashboard. I'm a fan of that, as well as the fact that they include, however shitty, headsets with your console. Not that most people use them, but they're there. I have yet to go get myself one for the Playstation, but I would if I had more friends that played the games I have.
I've said this before and I'll say it again. Xbox is winning right now, but the day will come when Playstation is back on top of the console gaming world. It's just a matter of time.
