the glow is annoying.... I like the sand though you just need to fix the effect of it.

As I said on MSN it's just an image with some text over the top. Looks like you've shoved some kind of wax filter over the image as well.
Try fading a background, something street-like. Then either use a clone brush, or a new layer and put your skater image over the top of it. It'll look much nicer.
