Okay, well I've been messing around with PlugY all day to no avail. I've read all of the pages of the PlugY thread, but they weren't much help.
I reinstalled, got the latest patch and then revertred to 11.1b, and followed all of the directions I found on the site. Earlier today, my problem was that I couldn't open my characters. When I'd start up d2, it was actually PlugY because it said so in the corner. When I opened Single Player and selected a character however, I would hear an error noise and my computer would freeze (had to use task manager or hit ESC). There wasn't any error message once I exited though, but I know it didn't work because there was an error noise.
So, as of right now, I reinstalled d2 without any patches or other data. Can somebody help me with the following please:
1) A download of patch 1.11b
2) A PlugY file that isn't shit.
3) An explanation of EXATLY what to do (and how the hell I'm supposed to copy the .ini file that I can't even find to my directory~and yes, I tried revealing the hidden files).

a new plugY version has been out for a while. it works with version 1.12.

I found out how to do it myself. I don't need anymore help.
