What Sorc should I make? - NamesDiligent - 06-30-2009
Hi everyone.
I just got Full Tal Rasha just now and I have no clue on what kind of Sorc I should make. I was thinking of either Fire or Lighting. Leaning more on the Lighting side because of the high damage I heard you can do and clearing fast runs. On the other hand, I was thinking Fire Sorc just for the hell of it since I head Fireballs can do 17k? Not sure on that one.
The majoirty of my Sorc will be made for MF'ing.
Anyone got a guide, Item list, and stat point list?

i suggest light, as there are fewer light immunes out there.
and im sure you know that there are better items out there, but tal's will work in a pinch

i have personally used fire before, and while able to kill many bosses, the minions around the bosses are an issue.
oh and not to mention, pits was virtually off limits to me.

Ah yes, alright. I know the fire sorc works good for pvp, but didn't expect it to be bad for minions and such.

well nearly everything is fire immune in hell.
even in nightmare, alot of things are immune to fire.
not as much things are immune to cold or light.
i think with your current gear, a cold sorc may be the way to go

Back in my D2 days i always went for Blizz sorc, never let me down.
I would suggest that, if not light sorc. With the right gear, you can't go wrong.

Bear Sorc 100k+dmg can solo chaos. pretty legit fairly cheap
