is there a way i can use my zonefire99 hero editor to edit my char on open battle.net? are those chars even stored on my computer or somewhere else? i cant seem to find them. can someone help? my hacking skills are damn near nonexistant

The should be stored in your Progam Files > Diablo 2 folder somewhere. I haven't played or editted in a while, but that's where they'd be. And yes, that's what zonfire is for I'm pretty sure. Open BNet editting. Just be prepared to either go all-out with your character hacking or still get owned on Open BNet. xD Kids on there like to put as many things as will fit on their items, so when they hit you 20 different spells go off, or when they get hit, 20 different spells go off. I used to run on sub 20kb/s internet on a crappy computer, and those people would actually cause my computer to freeze and shut down on me. :\
