Daggermancer Doubts - SpicyMeatball - 10-07-2009

Hi there,

After a long break I came back to this game and have been playing for a while again.
Played the standard characters but I always wished to make a daggermancer...

As if fate played with it Big Grin I recently found a Blackbog's Sharp and then I decided to go ahead and make a PvM daggermancer.

Skills will be Poison Dagger and the synergies, 1 in each Curse and the rest in Bone Armor and synergies.

But I have some equipment doubts... A Necromancer is not designed for melee combat so I guess I should have damage reduction, fhr and maybe frw.

I will try to get a Necro torch ofcourse an hopefully an Annihilus.
Amulet will be Highlord for the ias, +1 skill and deadly strike.
Shield will be a Stormshield for the damage reduction.
Gloves will be upped Bloodfist for ias and fhr.
Rings will be a Ravenfrost for the cannot be frozen mod and ar and a BK for the +1, and life.
Belt will be Verdungo's for the damage reduction, fhr and life.
On switch a CTA flail and Spirit monarch for the obvious reasons.

But for the rest... confused:

Helm:
If I get a Crown of Ages with 15% damage reduction and put at least 1 shael rune in it I can switch the Verdungo belt for a Nosferatu (more ias and slow enemy).
Or are there better helms for a Daggermancer?

Armor:
Bramble runeword for the % poison damage, fhr and Thorns aura or;
Enigma for teleport and +2 skills or;
CoH for +2 skills?
What will give more (Poison Dagger) damage anyway? +2 skills or the % poison damage on Bramble?

Belt:
Verdungo's or;
Nosferatu (see Helms).

Boots:
Gore rider for crushing blow, deadly strike and open wounds or;
eth Sandstorm treks for fhr, vita and str?

Weapon:
Upped Blackbog's Sharp for the +5 Poison Dagger, slow enemy or;
Fleshripper or;
maybe even a Fury fanged knife?

Inventory:
Will be a mix of small charms with fhr, res all, poison damage and life.

Please advise me which equipment gives the best mix of fhr, damage and ofcourse survivability Big Grin.
