Public vs Private Runs w/ HDIN - pbanks - 02-15-2012
Hello everyone,
Just some background... i have a level 95 that has roughly 2.6K life after bo/bc and i've been running my bot overnight and while i am at work (roughly 12+ hour). It does roughly 60+ runs over night and 90+ runs while i am at work.
I was wondering. Should i re-create my hdin and get better gear and run public chaos/baal runs?
Current Gear -:
Shako
Enigma
Wizzy (CTA switch - maybe 4 bo?)
Spirit (HOZ)
SOJ and a BK Ring
25-30 Maras
45-50% Travs
3x 5 all resist small charms
3x 7% mf sc
Anni and Torch
All in all i have roughly 350% mf and close to 125% FCR...
Do you think its better to do mf runs in private or public? can D2NT Etal do public chaos? and will the bot survive? or should i re-create the hdin?

I think I would go wirh a hoto vs wizzy and if you can get by without the 3x7% mf trade them for 20 life ones and if not switch your boots out for a pair that would help vs the mf - I thing if you can just stay over the 300 mf you will find the same vs the 350% mf
yes etal can do pub chaos and do pub chaos and baal together if you like - if you have extra d2 cdkeys you can even have a help char join your games
to me running chaos and baal runs are more for lvling then mfing - but could always set it up to run for a few days pub and see what kind of drops you get vs when you was running private ones and I guess it kinda depends on what you are looking for when mfing
also I think it is just luck of the draw when you find something because I have seen people have 2 chars mfing running the same bosses in diff games and 1 will find more then the other will and then after while the other one will start to find better stuff - one nice thins now is you can try different thing and don't have to make a new char for each setup

Hey comper. I do wish to run a public baal run with my hdin to help level a character up... can you guide me on how to set this up. I currently have 3 cdkeys running for the hdin bot and it switches cdkeys every 10 runs... However, i havent created a new character for the runs yet! LOL

there is a few ways you can go about this
1. if your hdin can rush your char all the way to hell chaos then it can leech xp there - that is the fastest way
2. the slow way lvl him to 24 then do anicents then baal runs to 40 then rush him all the way thru nm and do baal run there or kill baal go to hell and rush up to chaos and do runs there till 60+ then do your hell anicents then baal runs - all this you can do your self
just #1 you will need to join baal for quest games unless you have a char around lvl 40 and hasn't killed baal yet

Comper for #1... are you suggesting a GRush? and no i do not have a character that is lvl40 who hasnt doesnt baal...
Also, how to do i set this sucker up? Is it hard to set up? any manuals out there?

Well i change edited the game name and left password as blank. THen went to the leecher character file and took out the password
Ran the bot... then the leecher char bot said No password found leaving game! LOL
So i said changed it back to running private. Ran it over night and now i am realm down! Dont know for how long ill be RD though..... ill check later tonight if i can get back on. If i cant Ill be playing MW3 LOL

ok you did every thing right but you also need to change the - NTConfig_CheckPassword = true; to false in the General configuration part in the char config file
