hey guys, i was just wondering if any of you'z ever used bit torrents to download?? maybe we can share some really good sites/trackers and software..
for those who arent familiar, bit torrent is a new file sharing protocal, resembles the basic idea of p2p, but way more powerful, to download u must use a client (bust!, shareaze..) and you just link onto a .torrent file and bam, it downloads,
its recomended after you finished downloading a file, you keep it shared, as the only way the files will be available is if people seed them for other ppl..
a great site i alwayz go to is Suprnova.org , great database of games, tv shows, music, appz and movies.

Ive used bit torrent. Thanks for ruining the secret, now itll be seen by about 400 tracked computers a day. ^_^. Anyways..... I like it for downloading Naruto episodes.

hey, this secret has to be spread to have more ppl sharing!.. in the comming weeks i'll start hosting alot of tvshows.. once i get dsl installed again anywayz.. (gotta love tv tuner cards)
and please ppl, if ur gonna download from bit torrent, atleast seed for a half hour, the more u seed, the faster your downloads will go (they got a system that if u share, your actually download speed goes up,, kinda of a incentive to share!)

lol, blah, kazaa was crap b4 it came out in public anywayz..
keep in mind suprnova is really well maintained.. they work hard to keep the site clean of trogans, virii and those crap,, and trust me, if ppl start sharing fake files and other stuff like that, they will get banned pretty quick. all the files with bit torrent are hashed and are logged with who hosted it the first time.. hence why it wont turn into what kazaa is now

Almost all Bit Torrent sites are viruses. Especially the one that gave me this spybot I have now.

you just need to keep track of the legit ones.. like suprnova.. its really clean compared to alot of sites...
but its also a smart idea to ALWAYZ scan files you download.. doesnt matter wheree u get em. hell. ive gotten a virus b4 from download.com!.

actually bit torrent is easy to use..
google burst! (its my favorite client.. but there are other ones out there)
and install it,.. then visit a site like Suprnova.org, click on a link to download.. it will automaticly load up in burst/client of choice, select where you want it downloaded, and it connects, then u just need to sit back and let it go!..
some downloads will go slower then others.. just need to check how many seeds/leech is going on.. lets say u got 40 ppl seeding a file,, and 400 leeching it.. it might go slow.. or might go fast depending how much the other 400 have gotten...
since as soon as u download 1mg, u start sharing that meg of data, so even if ur downloading a file, ur already sharing it, so ur alwayz helping out the comunity!
until i lost my dsl, all i used was bit torrent.. i had downloaded season 1 thru 4 of CSI, about 20 full cd's of music, and 10 games, in a weeks time (which is alot of gigz of data.. just csi is about 400mgs an episode,, 20-some episode a series..)
but i guess it depends of the ppl who uses it.. i personally like it better then any other p2p, if i dont use that, i use Shareaze (gnetella network client.. great peice of software.. clean too!)
