ok for a sorc, the skill frozen orb mine does about 750-800 is that for each shard of if all the shards hit them? because y cant pindle die in 1 orb then?

yeh with frozen orb, the damage shown on the character screen is the damage per shard. the reason y pindle may not die in one hit is mayb it didn't hit, mayb it has more lifepoints and only got hit by one shard or whatever, and hell pindle probly has some cold resist so it didn't take the full cold damage.

Jedi I think your wrong... I'm pretty sure that frozen orb is damage per second. I'm almost positive that it's damage per second. I think it's mentioned in the skill tree.

I think it's mentioned in the skill tree.the seconds that you see is the cold length of how long the creature that you just hit is cold (blue) and slowed down. i still believe the damage shown is the damage done per shard (i could be wrong of course)
