Questing Loopholes - Rubberband-Man - 07-18-2004
I realize many of these r well known, but some arent. I also realize you dont need some of these if your getting rushed but for people who have to rush themselves they are handy. These only work in multiplayer i would assume and are thousand times ezier if you use maphack like myself lol.
Act 2
Getting to canyon without any staff pieces
Once you are in act 2, find a game where you have access to the inside of the palace. Go in, walk your way down, get wp's on the way, make way to summoner, defeat him, go in portal, get canyon wp. The downside to this is you cant take allies tp's to the arcane sanct, but hey, u have the wp right. Im not sure if ur also unable to take allies tp's to the canyon... i dont think u can.
Beat Act 2 ez
Finally had a chance to test this one and it works. What you do is once you reach act 2, party with a group who is going to kill duriel, and wait in the rocky waste while they kill him, and when he is dead, you will get the quest.
Act 3
Orb? ... what orb?
I realize that everyone and their dog knows this one but if im gonna post loops i might as well not leave this one out. Make your way to travincal, or find a trav run and join it to get the wp. Kill the high council for the quest and you will now be able to take townportals to the durance of hate.
Skip entire act straight to mephisto
Now... what happens when you do this last one but you dont have a tp to the durance of hate. Or what happens when you try your very da** best but you cant beat travincal on hellmode for the quest. This loop is best performed by a sorc because of her wonderful teleporting abilities along with being able to scroll-cast mephisto.
Find a game where the host has already beat act 3, i always do baal runs cuz they r a sure thing. Go to travincal, and put on your racing shoes and run inside the high councils temple where the orb is located and .... omg ..... the stairs are opened. lol. Go in the stairs before the roid raged council pwns you. Now make your way through the durance and find the wp. Now go make your own game, and take the wp down to the durance, go to meph, and waste him, then go in portal. Downsides are you cant lose all your exp dying at the hands of the council like we al wanted to, and you cant take allies townportals to durance, BUT YOU CAN take your on tps, so throw one up once in a while incase a doll comes and kills ya.
Act 5
Beat difficulty without doing ancients
(Once again another vastly known loop)
Simply find a game where someone in a baal run is going to kill baal for the quest. Party with them, and wait in town till they have killed baal. There ya go. Thats how those pesky bots get their lvl 1 chars into hellmode to constantly annoy use with their spam.
Participate in Baal Runs without killing ancients
I just learned this one from a new friend on Season 2 Ladder. Appearantly after doing the loop "Beat difficulty without doing ancients", now that you have the baal quest completed, you can now take townportals into the throneroom in the difficulty you just completed. How is this useful? Lets say you rush a low lvl all the way to hellmode and leech the quest while in harragoth in a baal run game. Now you can take tps in the throneroom of a hell baal run and leech exp faster than crap. Downside is for the most part people have lvl restrictions or they plain out want party you in their baal runs, BUT, if you have a good group of friends that will. ^^ nice lvling.

Solution : Tele to Andy, TP, kill, complete.
Act : 2
Boss : Duriel
WP's Needed : Lost City, Far Oasis, Arcane Sanctuary, Canyon of Magi
Solution : Collect the staff. Assure the rushie kicks the altar. Make staff. Head to Arcane, kill Summoner with Rushie up to 25 yards away. Tele to Tomb, TP, open Duriel, kill, talk to - Tyrael, the Prince, and ... That guy by the boat..
Act : 3
Boss : Councel, Mephisto
WP's Needed : (Forgot the name of the councel wp.. Sheesh), Durance of Hate 2
Solution : Kill Councel, have Rushie talk to Cain, kill Mephisto, complete
Act : 4
Boss : Diablo
WP's Needed : River of Flame
Solution : Tele to Chaos Sanctuary, kill the diciples, kill Diablo, complete
(Expansion)
Act : 5
Boss : Ancients, Baal
WP's Needed : Ancient's Way, Worldstone Keep
Solution : Assure Rushie is 25, tele to ancients, TP before entering, kill ancients. TP to Worldstone 3, kill Baal's minions, enter Throne of Destruction, kill Baal, complete.

Not everyone knows this.. And I clicked on the wrong thread.. That was ment for something else. Just now realized what the topic said.. I ment to type that in "need help rushing plz" because someone said, "you can't rush now that 1.10 is out". Felt like correcting them. =P
