hi, y'all, s'up,
i've played quite a lot of different characters and most of them usually gets stuck on their own, or i just get so god-damn bored with them.
is there such character wich can finish hell on its own??
i usually play offline cause of crappy net connection, and ther's the rare visits to open battle net just to mess around.

i dont think that any singleplayer char can solo hell. its a matter of getting the good items, which are very hard to find by yourself in singleplayer

Hammerdins and zons are the only ones I know of that could do that.

me and couple friends all player on single. Every once in a while we go on IP games and give eachother the good stuff we find for eachother's classes. We dont actually play on ip cause of the horrible lag we all get. I dunno, it seems to work pretty well.
I i guess u could always import the item into your char with hero editor and then drop however much money it is worth. Sorta like buying it without taking the time to sit there and find a seller.

hammerdins? sorry, i seriously have no idea how hammerdins are as good as they are talked about. hammerdins do refer to that spirally hammer move yeh? i checked on hero editor and the max damage doesn't even reach 1k, (i think).
if hammerdins, why not novas? sors and necros?
or how about a cold/lightning sor?

their is no immune for hammer din
the damage hammer do is pure damage can only reduce by defance nothing eles!!!

Okay, one char type I forgot about is summon necro.
Max skelly, skelly mastery, skelly mage, and you get GREAT tanks and every dmg type available. Put 1 pt into revive and clay golem for the extra tanking (and to summon really strong critters).
Since you're on single, either build up a strong *** merc, or get bone spear/spirit/teeth to get the first few skills before you make your skellies.
Also, 1 pt into corpses explosion. Skellies don't poof til they die, so the extra dmg is nice when you're full of skellies. Nothing like blowing up a 20k health corpse for 15k dmg.

I would go for summoner necro. I used to play one on single player and I got through hell with:
Quel-Hagan's Armor
Imbued Corona gemmed with 2 perf skulls
Rare Wand
Troll Nest gemmed with flawless diamond
Frostburns
Vidala's Fetlock
2 Rare rings and a Ammy with +1 all summoning skills
It was a huge pain in the *** to finish hell, especially killing diablo, but it works.
