Well? I just had a feeling this could get rather offensive. It seems to me that most people pick one kind of Sorc and are zealous about it. I personally like Lightning Sorcs, cuz they're fun, and you can teleport around. How cool is that?!?

Rush through nightmare? Bah, I for one like orb sorcs the most, but I have a level 90 fire sorc and she owns. Really, all sorcs are too strong for their own good, but orb ones seem to be best all around (since there are so many lightning builds of other characters and so many fire immunes in hell.)

lol blizz sorces own over all of them my sorce dose 10k blizz damige and -150 enemy resist its basically auto kill for enything not cold imune, also sence orb dose about 5 damige to people with decent resist

lies, as you said -150 cold resist, orb is 2nd killer besides blizz, personally, i like to maxx everything on the cold tab except the armors and nova, get a decent lvl blizz, max everything, then start to work on blizz again

I got in one arguement with this kid and I love him already....
Anyway back on Topic I used to play more when d2 first came out and again in 1.09 and I was always a fanatic about an orb/t-storm *daydreams* oh man how those cows did fall, *sigh*... Anyway, as seeing how they have come out with this new synergies crap it seems as though putting points into thunderstorm is almost completely worthless. So it now seams a one tree is all you can mostly deal with if you want to have a top notch gurlie.
Pretty Much,
Fires always average damage(very dependable).
Lightning CAN kick complete *** but can also completely suck.
Finally Cold, well Cold keeps you from getting your *** beat so. Blizzard can work over stuff but if u had a computer half as bad as mine you'll stick with a good old Orber.
So I vote w00t for the orbers!!

Yeah No shit man every sorc can Tele it takes a whole what 2 skill points, I thought Tele was a givin for any sorc..ahaha am I wrong?? And with how popular enigmas are now, pretty much anyone can Tele so its not a question of Tele...your Tele point really "holds no water" shall we say...

Wow, I've gone off on a tangent. Yeah, all sr0cs can tele. What'd we get into an argument about again? I think it was semantics.
Cold sr0cs can freeze and/or slow down, and cut through resistances. They have the most stable of damage, and it averages out perfectly. They are the most lethal with a stash full of 10 cold skill charms, and anni, then a few faster r/w charms/res charms/res w/ life sc's (like 20 life/5% resist all, I love those charms). Then perf cold facet everything, and have a Blizzard ormus' robes, perfect 15/15/15. Then get that helmet that has + to cold skill. I forgot the name.
Oh-kay, time to get ready for sleepin' and having LSD-induced dreams once again (Dude, some day, I'm going to have a whole thread on my ***in' dreams. I don't really do acid, but, if you had these dreams, you'd think someone slipped you something at night). Then, I'll get called by that sexy ****** while I'm at Six Flags Astroworld. blizz sorces are best also cuzz there the only sorce that can kill dc without conviction or lower resist

blizz sorcs do most unresisted damage, light sorces do the most dmg and cast the fastest, and fire sorces usually cast the 2nd fastest

cold mastery+17k blizz=death
light mastery+9 faceted lightning= 40k lightning -45% enemy resist=1-2 hits death
fire mastery+fireball needs to be fast=3-4 hits then death
