i dont wana sound like repeating 66xerox66 but mf only effects the find of magical,set, and unique items. runes, keys, pots, gems etc. dont fall into that category...

Runes are SIMPLE items, which means they will ALWAYS have a base Item level of 1. Also, being a simple item means they are NOT affected by change of quality, and therefore, cannot be affected by magic find. Monster Rune drops are determined when the game is made.

I put my hotkeys on A, S, D, F, Q, W, E, R, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8. I have my quest log on Z, character screen on C, inventory stuff on I, merc on O, party on P, switch weapon on Caps Lock. I find that very easy to use, and I rarely have to go past F5 anyways.
