    well
st : put the win xp cd
nd : reboot
rd : go check in the bios if it will boot on the cd
th : reboot again and press any key when it is asked, so you'll boot on the cd
th : memory is beeing loaded with pre-install files
th : you arrive on a blue screen and asked to press F8 to continu
th : then you'll see your partitions. delete the one hosting your windows. it will ask if you are sure bla bla bla
th : select the way you want it to be formated (fast or not) and the "file system" ( NTFS or FAT32)
th : it will load on the hd requered files to install win
th : it will reboot and dont press any key to boot on the cd, now all is gonna be done from hd (omg i suck in english =D )
th : let the installer install ...
th : specify your network settings (like your ip, etc..)
th : YOU ARE DONE ! well now you need to reinstall all your drivers, programs and whatever...
