a reputation point system was put in place to determine who was helping around the forums... and yet, it has now become a popularity contest...

imo, it dosent matter if you have 200 rep points, if you are not a credit to the community, then you should not have a single point no matter how many people gave you points because you gave them points... but thats just my rational...

Helping a person in need should be all the thanks anyone really needs. Just a little bit of advice to everyone, points dont make the person. Your personal actions either good or bad make you who you are, and that IS something that people do take note of.
