what is "over clocken"
what is "over clocken"
its makes your cpus faster or should i say like if mine are 1 gzhs each over clocken them would be any thing over 1ghz mine are at 1.63 or something like that each cpu
Oh, I thought you meant saying your computer runs faster than it actually does. You do realize you run the risk of frying your motherboard doing that, right?
yes it can happen but the chances are not big of it lol thats why im not over clocken mine to max lol:

Uhm... 1.36187 Ghz 338 mb ram, GeForce4 MX 440 256MB. And a monitor OMFG! It's ok, consedering I don't really care to play the more modern games like UT2k4 and Doom 3. The games themselves aren't bad, however.
i got a 1.67ghz can anyone tell me how to overclock and what program to use and such
nice man i bet your comp is fast as crap lolOriginally Posted by BurNin_RaVe
I think to overclock you have to do it manually in BIOS, I'm not sure if there are programs that actually will configure your computer to an overclocked state.
u do have to do it in bios and there is no program to do that 4 u lolOriginally Posted by n3kk1d-l337

i would never use under 512 ram thats what i use and i think i should get more
overclocking was fixed a long time ago because people kept screwing up pentium chips by purchasing cheap ones and testing their speed, then stretching their speed and testing again. this overclocks and eventually screws up ur compOriginally Posted by n3kk1d-l337
over clocken your comp will never be fixed lol my comp is over clocked now:Originally Posted by silver_ice1212
