My necromancer

This is my level 85 patriarch necromancer.

Finished Hell mode tonight :) (Baal was REALLY hard to kill).

If you want to have fun with a (i think so) good necro...

Especially : which parts of equipment do you think i should change ? for what else ?

Note, i forgot to mention that secret cow level at hell difficulty is still available :

i had trouble killing pretty much everything in hell, and it was slow. id try making the necro to a bone necro and useing this gear

shael 08 valk
storm circlet ammy
enigma bp
+37-40 hoto
umed darkforce
magefist gloves
2 sojs
arach
marrowwalk boots
weapon2: cta flail
shield 2: lidless wall

max all synergies for bone spirit (except bone prison) dont put 1 point into bone prison, put 1 point into clay golem and the rest into other skills.

put no points into str (enigma bp+ anni gives u enough str)
put around enough for 55% block
and the rest into vitality

put 8-10 poison and bone gcs in ur inventory and the rest with +5 to all resist scs.

This surprises me. Using my 13 skeletons, 8 mages, fire golem, mecenary, and 15 revived monsters, i can go through any map very quickly without risking to be killed at anytime (even in Chaos Sanctuary and during Baal runs).

This necro isn't good at fighting himself though, because of the wand it uses that gives very low physical damage. Instead of this, i prefer 'Increase Damage' and 'Corpse Explosion' that make GREAT damage.

somoning necros are ok but u can never go solo almost

not to sound incredibly mean but ur necro sucks man

o come on.. bone necros can solo quite easily, just like single ele sorcs..., tele away from monster u DON"T like and kill the ones u can

What do you mean by 'solo' ? If you mean 'alone', with no monsters aside you, A barbarian or an assassin is far better, i think. They can have better physical/elemental resistance and give impressive damage i couldn't reach with other classes.

By the way, i'm having very much fun with my necromancer as it is build.

Can you post a necromancer that 'doesn't sucks' for me to try ?

dude im not sure what ur talking about tahu. ive done over 100 solo hell baal runs with my summoning necro and he doesnt have anytrouble whatsoever

Have to say I am not sure, I am working on a summon necro right now. lvl 84 and used Mudmann's build up. The reasin why I did it was because this necro rushed two people by himself in hell. Took maybe 20-30 min at the most. That can't be that slow. I know he had enigma not to sure about anything else. I did not have C3P0's on that night. As for bone yea they can do very nicely with clay golem and act 2 nm merc.
