so... ur saying that by having a huge party of adventurers meeting in act1, or even before that, then dispursing and taking on each act as different groups.. just how many heros would there be? and will the whole concept of lvls still be there? how do u cast a movie under 5 hours long about a game that most people cant beat alone in under 24 hours ><
anyway they should just make it like 5 tapes long. one for the meeting, killing of andariel and departure, then act 2, act 3, act 4, and then the climactic final battle and act on act 5.
that would be a long but good movie. unlike most people i can sit down for 7 hours and watch the same movie.. from start to finish. man Band of Brothers was a good movie :)

there are 7 classes and 4 acts (cause they met up in act 5) so u could have like 2 in each act and repeat a class once or if u have different genders then u could have like 2 of each class so then u could have like 3-4 in a group per act. The idea of mulitply movies is good. although it may be possible to get 2 acts on each tape and then the 5 act is like the big movie. im sure u could meet the time constraints if u left out a few quests that aren't really important to the overall plot. as for the lvls thing i don't think u could do that in a movie. i mean that would be kinda weird to be watching a guy fighting and then all of a sudden see like "You LVL" flash across the screen. although u could make it seem as if they had gotten stronger by like in one scene its really hard for a char to kill a creature and then in the next he can kill it in like 1-2 hits or after a battle have one char say to another "I feel stronger now" or something like that and then the guy would repsond by telling him that the more he fights the stronger he will get and he will learn more skills. that is the only way i can think of getting the lvl thing in

- The paladin dies first on account of he's black (slain by Rakanishu?).
- The barbarian and amazon are killed by mephisto after they fall in love.
- The necromancer is Nihlithak and betrays the rest of the party at the end.
- Tyrael is in trouble but is saved by the crew.
- Assassin goes off to live in solitude near Kurast to practice martial arts.
- Druid and Sorceress fall in love and rebuild Tristram
- There will only be ONE cow in the whole movie and it will only appear for a split second off in the corner of the screen in Rogue Encampment wielding an axe.

Those are some good ideas. I especially like the cow. I think it should have a polearm of some sort though, like in the cow level. How about when the credits roll, they have clips from the actual game and cg stuff in the cow level. Comical things, like a sequence of the remaining characters charging.... Wait a sec, I got it!!!! The final boss can be the cow king!!! How great would that be?! I think that should happen, but if it doesn't then during the credit roll, the remaining heroes should charge the cow king and freeze frame and fade out back to credits, and show random clips from the game and movie and stuff.

God I came up with this idea... its pretty interesting how you guys have added more and more stuff ranging from nice things to straight up bullshit. Sorc and Zon having sex? That must have been from a ***** guy. The movie is supposed to be PG-13 because lots of little kids play it. So lets at least straighten this up. At least follow my story line; I should be the director/editor and such since it WAS my idea, dont forget that

fine u can be director/editor and i really like that cow king thing and as soon as they enter the cow lvl they should hear all this mooing and look at each other and be like wtf?? and then a bunch of cows come and try and kill them and they become all confused and almost die but then they start killing the cows like crazy and then the cow king comes and they start fighting him and then when they kill the cow king it goes to a scene where they're in like a pub or something and they're wondering if there is anything left for them to do since all the prime evils are dead and if D3 comes out or another expansion pack then we could pick up there

I was wondering how gory this movie should be, since it's supposed to be PG-13. How much blood should actually be shown and stuff, and graphic violence. There should be some type of romance, but not sex. There's usually romance in PG-13 movies nowadays. Anyways, more ideas... If we want this to be successful, then we should appeal to a large audience of people. I think that if the trailer and adverti*****ts are good, then it might sell as well as LotR, but that's just my opinion. D2 is so popular all over the world that it would have to sell pretty well, and it wouldn't turn out like the Final Fantasy movie, at least let's hope not. How about there isn't some hybrid Baal/Diablo/Mephisto creature, and instead there is some greater demon that was controlling the 3 brothers? That might be interesting, and it's just a thought, but the 3 brothers all turning into one super monster sounds kinda lame to me. We need more participation and suggestions! D2 players unite and give us more ideas!!!!!

3 Druids (Shape shifting, Elemental, Summoning)

I don't think that they should be focused on one thing, but they should have different strengths, like a Lightning/Fire sorc, and an Ice/Lightning sorc, etc.

i'll repeat this post that i wrote earlier in case it was too old. it has 2 romantic, but not sexual relationships in it:

ok, bout the movie:
-a romantic relationship with Charsi and a barb, with the barb promising to come back to visit her after he and his party slays andy, but he doesn't, so then she starts to get mad, then he (eventually) visits her after they slay meph, then they eventally are happy w/eachother, then a minion of diablo kidnaps charsi and brings him to diablo, diablo kills charsi, barbarian goes crazy (*hint* beserk,frenzy *hint*) and he does most if not all damage to diablo.
-two of the diablo II characters in the party will have to have a relationship, mayb the sorceress & necro, of mayb the assassin & druid i dunno lol.
-would we have to follow the rules of "hardcore" settings? once/if a player dies, is he dead for good???
-some humerous fight between some/all of the character after a boss battle fighting over a 1337 item that the boss jsut dropped.
-a fierce rivalry between two of the characters, until one saves the other at a point, and vice versa, and they are afterwards friends.
-diablo clone could be included as well.

if i can think of more things, mayb i'll post em i dunno. its just a start.

well this all would b nice but.............(rill good thinkin tho ^^^) most of those stars want 2-12 million bucks a picture, resulting in this being the most expensive movie in history. lol. yea well wed have to deal with whoever applied for the parts and whoever wanted to do the parts. like sum1 already said, auditions is how ud do it, and settle with wut ya get.
also it would probably b much better to break this whole thing up into 2, 3 or even 4 seperate movies all made at diff times. such as a prequal to D2 for the first 1, acts 1 and 2 in the second movie, 3 and 4 in the third, 5th and the final battle in its own. well neways this how i kinda see how itd work out the best.

i think the more........... the better cuz its about a war. the war against evil. so i think it should actually b rated R. cuz just like the movie braveheart (awesome movie, go watch it if u havent) its only rated R because of brutality and war. so to make it pg-13 it would have to b a pretty weak movie and not get half as high of rating.

we shouldn't try to figure out the cast right now and i agree that we shouldn't have one char for each tree, maybe we should just have one char of each and they are well rounded so that they know stuff from everything unless u want to have male and female of each class.
