i think 4 that cow battle scene the crew should almost lose then at the last second the three original chars from d1(warior rouge and sorcerer) come in and save the day

also at least one main char has to die thats what happens in all movies

has anyone thought of asking Blizzard to produce this movie? n we wud need a patent from bliz so they wont sue us for stealin their idea for a movie , even if we do get the casting crew. buh the crew's good. Heres one idea : For all those Lotr lovers ( jus lik me ) we could get the entire crew of LOTR and make them play roles of D2, such as Frodo for Rakanishu? (their size) Legolas for amazon ( male amazon?) you get my point.

Yeah, we're getting good ideas now. I agree with SunFire. The movie should be rated R, so it could be like Braveheart, although if LotR was PG-13(can't remember the rating on it) then the D2 movie could also be PG-13, I think..... Rated R would probably be fine as long as we stay away from the X-Rated garbage. I think we should email Blizzard with a link to this thread, except we should kinda get rid of the X-rated stuff. That probably won't go over too well. They might get discouraged from the multiple pages of that stuff.

A diablo 2 movie is about as plausible as a starcraft movie. they would both have their high entertainment value. But Its like when someone makes a book into a movie, its never as good. So to make a movie on either of these games would be folly because they would not be able to encompous the greatness held within.

It wont happen. I dont remember when 1.10 patch game out, but does anyone know if blizzard is even doing anything for Diablo anymore? more patches, new game, new characters, etc.

maybe they will get intrested in it again and make more patches and they might be encouraged to make a D3. and so what if it can't encompass the greatness of the game? i would just love to see D2 in movie format

Movies usually aren't as good as the books, but what about the original star wars trilogy, or LotR? Those were some awesome movies! I never read those books. I'm sure that a lot of D2 fans would swarm to see the movie, the main thing would be trailers... Those are what would get the fans all riled up again and inspire them to watch the movie. I'm sure that Blizzard couldn't ignore the potential of a movie. I don't know so much about starcraft.... That game is pretty good, but it seem like Blizzard REALLY gave up on that game a long time ago. They were supposed to come out with starcraft 2 in '99, weren't they? That game's been delayed way too long, and it won't sell as well now because all of the anticipation is gone...

we should do sumthing like that after the movie...... like in the credits as sum sort of.............. blooper........ or after they win the final battle...... the screen come back up with every1 alive and well again fighting cows.

and skarz....... my uncle thats workin with blizz says that they were working on a prototype of a D3 and that if they were goin to ever release it...... itd b sumtime in late 2006 to mid 2007. but that was last year when he said that and he hasnt heard much of if since....... so i dunno.

All of this sounds good... but... what about the whole... story board? after kicking diablos *** so many times in the game.. arent we getting bored of demolishing him? i understand that killing him this was is new and stuff.. but.. its still killing some guy who has been dead litteraly millions of times..

that is true but they still could sumhow pull up a good story line out of the game...... the thing is.... this movie would attract TONS of veiwers but it would either completely bomb or hit huge. and the chances of completely bombing are considerabley higher than that of a success.

BUT this is very entertaining nontheless and if it was made (even if it sucked) itd b cool that we had a hand in it right?

and i also agree that we should drop all x-rated junk if we even seriously think of talking bout this to blizzard, or even if we dont send it to blizzard, that crap is dumb. i mean i enjoy it just as much as the next guy..... but lmao, id never b able to see the movie that way nor would neone want to make a p0rn0 that long, LOL

I know tha what I said may have seemed to be all anti D2 movie. However the concept of such a movie has its merits. If such a movie was made I know that I would either pay money to see or download it for free, hehe. But I would have to believe for any Diablo 2 movie to have a clear following of the game blizzard would have to be strongly invovled. And by the way, even though the Lord of the Ring movies were great, the books were still better.

that is a good idea for the movie but i think the barb should die in the middle and him and the nec be freinds so that way the nec would get realy pist off at baal and after the pally and the others kills diablo the nec rush off to go a kill baal and his face change cause he is so pissed and in the final battle the necro's inner demon to pop out and him to kill baal and the nec would use so much life killing baal that his own soul would become damed and him to consome the souls of baal diablo mephesto and for him to become the ruler and the pally at the very end would com up get on the back of the demon (necro) and to slash a hole into the neck and for the souls to be releast and for them to go to hell and the gate of hell to be locked and sealed and at the end they would barrie the nec and the others would talk and walk away then the camera would zoom in on the ground and go throw the ground and show the necs face and for the eye to pop open and have a glowing redness to them and for baals laugh to luagh loudly and then the creidits role
