Hell ya , i made this post, and its so succesfull, yay, n ways, I dont think he should b chosen, i think the hero should take on this task by fate. Sort of was planned by the "powers that be". The powers foresaaw wut the destruction of worrldstone would bring, so they chose decendant of the hero. And now, no one know who he is, but fate will guide him. The guys name should b...(post comments on name). Fate will guide him. The guys name should b **** head, just for laughs.

kai, the school crap is the gayest thing i ever heard. The hero(**** head lol),he wont go to no school. His daddy will teach him crap. And hel have some talent and shit. He should also have some magic in him, but be fighting based.

kai the idea you had is good but it seems like its more for a video game but seems sorta lame 4 a movie

also, i dont know if any of you guys even listened to those random books all over the place in d1 and d2 but the story is pretty cool so i had an idea that the movie takes place during the sin wars(3 prime evils banished to the mortal realms by the lesser evils where the horodrim team up with heaven and use the soul stones to imprison the 3 prime evils. for those of you who where wondering) so then like cain when he was young goes around with all the d2 chars than we could use all the othr ideas ecxept instead of killing the dudes they imprison them with soulstones

i think it would make the movie more of an epic than a novelty for people who play the game

Wow, about half of you **TOTALLY** misconstrued what I said. I was talking about a Diablo III **Game**, not the movie. The thread had evolved a bit at that point. I personally thought that was pretty obvious. Regarding the comment about schools of magic, etc.: Those of us who have finished our Primary education know that a school is a style or practice of something, the manner of which they have learned their particular means of combat, not a educational facility to train them. Another thing: Belial and Azmodan are in Diablo II literature, not Warcraft. Warcraft has "Azgalor", a pit lord captain. Belial, Azmodan, Andariel, and Duriel made up the four lesser evils. I believe their Titles were: Belial; lord of Sin, Azmodan; lord of Disease, Andarial, maiden of Anguish, and Duriel, lord of Pain. Anyhow. It is my firm belief that the next Diablo game, or movie, will take place once the Worldstone has been destroyed. Azmodan and Belial will be the leaders of hell to bring again the great conflict they so greatly desired. Chances area that the hero will try to stop them either before they can begin their war, or to finish the war they started (I prefer the latter myself). Another thing: I lied about my afro. OMFG I feel so "nerdy" right now. If you haven't noticed yet, I revised my outline for diablo III, and it is more complete and confusing. If its too tough for you, thats ok, cause I am having a difficult time putting all my thoughts to words at the moment. Just ask questions for whatever it is you dont understand.

Casting will be as such.

Deckard Cain - (I gotta against the flow on this one) Leonard Nimoy

Diablo - (Voicework) Gov. Arnold Schwartzenegger

Mephisto - (Voicework) Ozzy Ozborne

Baal - (Voicework and Face composite) Donny Osmond

Amazon - Drew Barrymore

Paladin - Danny Glover (a young Danny Glover of course)

Barbarian - Mel Gibson (cause we gotta have a "I'm not to old for this shit" section SOMEWHERE)

Necromancer - (Also played by) Ian Mckellen

Sorceress - Sandra Bullock

The Druid and Assassin will not be featured in the first movie, but in the requisite sequel.

The First things you must realize is that this movie would have to be a comedy. The second is that Danny Glover and Mel Gibson even though they are young - would need to do a "I'm not to old for this shit" section. Second, the Amazon, played by Drew Barrymore, would need to go on random party killing sprees. Each time she would be screaming: "PKPKPKPKPKPKPKK!PK!PK!!!!!!111"
Followed by: "THX GG NO RE ^ ^;;" after she killed someone. Oh, and the Amazon would also scream EVERYTHING she said. "GIV MEE ITAMS!!" would be her battle call.

The problem with JLo is that any comedic ventures she engages in bomb. She doesn't have a flair for the funny I guess. Sandra Bullock however has done several comedies, each of which was funny. If you want a good barbarian, get some wrestler off of WWE. If you want to waste loads of materials making the muscles and stuff then get some regular actor. The barbarian is the biggest and most muscular character in the party, so you will need somebody like that in the movie. That's why I'm suggesting a wrestler.

For anyone who is wondering about a male amazon, forget it. Amazons are female warriors that live in jungles. Males are unwanted in their lands but some amazons stray from home and actually develop a relationship with males. Of course one of those would be the amazon that joins the party to save the world, but why would she join the party? There could be a mystery around the amazon in why she joins the party. This also leads to wanting to know why the necromancer, assassin, etc...joined. If you want people to get involved in the movie, then you gotta go back before D2 starts and develop how this party comes to be.

Some mysteries of the characters:
--Amazon - She has a crush on one of the male members of the party and decides to join to be with him.
--Sorceress - She could of had a past experience with demons (sent by Diablo because of some secret skill) killing her sorceror parents and she could be wanting revenge.
--Barbarian - He could have came down to visit his relative (charsi) and gets caught up in the talk about Andarial around the Rogue Encampment.
--Paladin - He could be on a quest (for the king) to see why monsters have been appearing more often and finds his way to the Rogue Encampment.
--Necromancer - He could have been in the grave yard doing research when all of a sudden the dead rises out of the ground and Blood Raven chases him off. He then arrives at the Rogue Encampment and joins the party so he can get back at Blood Raven.
--Druid & Assassin - no ideas on these characters.

Well... first of all.. the Necromancer is not the ideal character to make have revenge. The art of Necromancy requires a level head and more anger than vengance.
The Paladin, however was on his way to check on that one girl that heals u and gives u equip in act 2 (i forgot her name....) and gets sidetracked and lost in the desert, and ends up wandering into the rogue encampment. when he makes his way back 2 act 2, he finds that girl and he then makes his way to act 4, where he meets up with his paladin breatherin (Jamella and Halbu) to make the final strikes unto diablo's foul plain of evil.
Barbarian: he is on a quest given to him directly from the Elder Council of act 5, and he eventaually meets up with the heros in the rogue encampment, where the monsters had been multiplying since the Dark Wanderer's absence.
well considering that its about midnight where i am im going 2 leave what i have so far here and pehaps pick up tommorow. Cya.

i think like 3 of the characters should be old adventuring buddies that fought in tristram and stop by the rouge encampment on there way home and here about tristram being destroyed and rescue cain and cain will explain why they are following the wanderer(diablo) then all the other characters meet up in various ways (i.e. on is saved from some monsters, one gets hired, the other 2 could just run into all the people in harrogoth and join in the quest)

also there should be one unique item that they need to find to kill baal like...soj or shako or one of the popular items in b.net

This is probably going to end up being a flash movie, but the chances of anyone actually having the motivation to make it is pretty slim. I've got Flash MX 6 but i only use it to draw, so i wouldn't know a thing about how to make a huge animated movie on it.

YEA!!! I GOT AN IDEA!!!!!! have u even seen www.redvsblue.com ??? they make movies about Halo and its a HUGE hit, if we could do sumthing like that, it would b pretty successful. or even if we could get the same guys, mayb. if u havent been there, check it out, its pretty cool!!!! very funny!!
