Please Help Me!!!!

Here is what happend.
On the chat room in Diablo 2, a guy was advertising a site that had a dupe. (I know I am a dumbass). So I went there and downloaded it. Just to be safe, I made a new account and ran the program, it made my comp stall, so I restarted it. When I turned it back on, I wanted to see if the hack was still running, and tried to access the Task Manager, but no, it didn't let me, It said that I didn't have the premission, when I was the admin. Well I ran my antivirus, it found the 3 reg keys that were bad, I deleted them. Well next day I turn My comp on, and the same shit happens. It is as if my computer doesnt save. Please help, the bad reg keys are always there when I turn on my comp again so it gets annoying having to scan my comp every time. Please help me out so that this shit doesnt happen anymore. Ty

All I can say is never download anything that spammers on d2 send you. If it was a real dupe bliz would shut the accts of that spammer down.

use a system restore poiint previous install point, check the antivirus website for hotfixes for thoose keys. worse comes to worse reformat and reinstall

Can you give us more details..? Use system restore, run your antivirus again, then use this, this, and then run Spybot SD & Ad-Aware, I'm hoping you have both.

Update your antivirus, too..

Uh, and if anything.. go to Start > Run > msconfig -- Then disable whatever processes are causing the issue. That'll sometimes at least neutralize most of the problem, I think.

Assuming nothing else completely removes it. (shrugs)

Next time don't go to any links seen on BNET, etc.

Someone told me to reformat my drive. What does that do? Is it hard? Does it erase everything? Help I am 12 lol

reformattin ur drive = deleting everything on ur hard disc

Any other way I can solve this problem without reformatting my drive? I already scanned my computer 100 times. After I delete the virus and reboot my computer, its back again. HELP!

what i think happend is when you downloaded the file and ran it it added another program. The program it added adds reg keys.

Get a program that tacks any files added. The run the "dupe".
Find where it is installing this program and delet it. That should take care of the mysterious keys being added.

i know but one time my friend got scamed by it and he gave me the website so i made new acct and i just made new char and d/led it and it made me freeze up and have to restart my comp while droping my items(which was ntohing cuz it was another acct nothing but starting items on him) but then if ****ed it up but eventually went away
