I would max smite b4. + conviction does have the drop off pt at 150 so you could max it and have less in convic also i think your basing ur gear more as a foh'r then a smite/foh smite should at least be able to do some dmg, not just be there for a for fun mess around with people attack.

Nobody can handle the leetness of this sig.

Upgraded HoZ have 45-45 in base dmg wich is one of the best base dmg on a shield.(Unless they are etheral)

I couldnt care less how much dmg hoz has on it im just saying it would be better for you to max smite rather than conviction because smite dmg would blow without it maxed.

Sorry Keitaro, but your guide won't work. Smite would probably be too slow to use against any melee character or caster. I tried this build, but it really doesn't work. If you try to balance Smite and FoH, you will run out of skill points FAST. You need to have 2 full trees of skill points (Combat Skills and Offensive auras). The bottom line is, you should either be pure FoH or pure Smite. 1 of the skills will end up being too weak to use.

smite/foh is a strong pvp combination. the point is to force ur opponent to stack lightning resist and absorb against u, so that they sacrifice other gear choices. a good v/t (vindicator/templar) can should be able to get 2k+ foh dmg, 3k+ smite, 3k+ life with BO. if ur on ladder, use grief...that'll boost ur smite dmg off the chart, and u can probably save urself some pts in smite and put em in foh and synergies instead.

ive seen more successful v/t than t/v builds.

Go check out my guide I just wrote. I'm completing the strategy section later. The thread is entitled Finalized V/T!

I have already tested the build, and it rocks. Enjoy!
