... What's the point of a limit in a chat.. lol..
and would that be an IRC chat or just in Bnet?

So hence just log on to the chat.
why in high hell would you addOriginally Posted by B!tch??? Also if you spend THAT much time PM'ing people from this forum instead of having them a click away on one of the MANY IM services then your just plain stupid. I only use PM for trade business and things along those lines. If I happen to do business with someone on a more regular basis then I get an IM s/n and add them and converse with through that. There is NO reason why you SHOULDN'T just use an IM service instead of "forcing" the mods and owners of d2sector to create and maintain a chat service. If you really want one so bad go set up your OWN mIRC channel for the forum and maintain it yourself. I see no reason why the mods/owners should have to do this for any of you lazy shits who cant use an IM service.Originally Posted by B!tch
PS
AIM does allow you to create chat rooms with its IM service for free with no user limit.

here is a link to a IM client that will support ALL currently used IM services:

PSSS
Somone fork over $50 and I will PERSONALLY set up a mIRC chat room for d2sector.

thats a great idea....we needa make an aim chatroom thats always up...
least that way it wont **** the forums up
Ehhh, I'm doubting it will get used much, if at all, so why put the trouble into keeping the chat room up?
i'm kinda on both sides...i mean like i doubted that the clan channel would be used much but its seems to be thriving...i think it be good because it will be easier for people to get to know each other and such...so i think its up to chesh at this point to see what he thinks...i'd say maybe test it out to see how it goes...do like a week trial period or something...that's my suggestion anyway
hey think about this guys... half the fourm ppl r east and half the fourm ppl are west (me) so if we had a chat we would have diff time so not everyone will b on the same time ... and its werid but when ppl see only 1 person in something.. they tend not to join its werid.. that just beats me
i just think they should use d2 to chat and leave the forums the way they r.....dont **** up wuts already good
there was a chat where?
itll be nice if u reopen it and tell us where it is
lol its links > Chat... but its not open yet... HOPEFULLY CHESH WILL TULL US IF HE OPEN IT OR NOT... ?
i seem for some reason to dought he will.....i dunt care if we got 1 or not....
think about this the chat room will come in handy in explaning things to ppl that are acctually on the forum at that time and the forum is for posting to ppl that can only hop on for a min or to check the jokes and stuff like that it wont **** up the forum ns-chris it actually a very good idea......i am for it all the way
we the only flaw in that is....is that i nvr just get on for a minute and all the peeps will go to chat instead....
no but other ppl can get on and chat after they check there posts cause ppl are on at different times and so you can talk to them when they get on without having to wait on a pm from them ....i mean damn it wont mess anything up
chat services take up server process hence the opening of a chat room WILL "****" things up. I still think its the most worthless idea ever. but if chesh will waste his time on it good for him.

It's not the point of messing anything up. It's the time and energy placed into the first attempt at a chat. Everyone was overwhelmingly in favor of the idea. It was popular in the very beginning, and then it went down the drain.
well yank it back out the drain and reuse it
Post...bye bye
