Which reminds me that I have found every single ring in the game except for a SoJ at one point or another... I always have to trade for those damn things! I see the gold letters and say "OH BOY! This time for sure..." then it whinds up being a stinking Raven Frost.

I got Tal's ammy from normal Meph. (I haven't investigated as to whether this is actually possible or not.) I found it again with the same character from a random Flayer in act 3 hell.

It took me a good half hour to find a decent avatar...goddam Final Fantasy
