    Default Godly Light Sorc Build

Yo peeps, i am the creator of the infamous uswest scl sorc called ChargedVash, many people hate me because of her but i'll tell you how to make a good one for mfing or pvp.

    Skills:
    Max in this order:
    Lighting Mastery
    Lighting
    Charged Bolts
    Nova
    Chain Lighting
put 1 skill into teleport, es, warmth etc., a cold armor is optional...

    Stats:
    112 str
    base dex
    rest of points: vit
    base energy

    Gear:
    Helm: Griffons with Light Facet
    Armor: Up'd Um'd Perfect ViperMagi
    Boots: Aldurs
Ring1: Fcr with 20 Str *or else u get no spirit*
    Ring2: Soj//Bk Ring//Fcr Ring//Absorb Ring
    Belt: Arachnid Mesh
Gloves: Magefist *if u want more mana regeneration* or Trang-Oul's *if u want more cold res*
    Weapon: HOTO
    Shield: Spirit Monarch
Switch Weapon: Infinity Voulge *Keep a CTA in stash*
    Ammy: Mara's OR +2-3 skills, + 10-20 Fcr Rare/Crafted Ammy
Charms: 10xLight gcs *mods are great*, Anni, 5% Fhr Sc's//20 Life, MOD scs// res scs

    Merc: Bow Merc
Weapon: WF, Ice, Faith, BOTD, or w/e kinda bow you would like
    Helm: Any
    Armor: Any

there are two options on gear for fcr. Either go for 2x Fcr rings and 10-20% Fcr Ammy and have a good spirit to reach the 200% FCR Breakpoint for TELEPORT!! this means you can run down any mofo u want :).

    Stragety:
PvM: For countess runs, just use lighting, aim for countess and let the piercing hit all the minnions and kill the countess real quick.

PvP: Tele around your foe untill they stop moving then cast a lighting on them, this stragety works well and is the only one i will tell without a price
For Absorber/Mass Res: Use your Infinity Voulge *yes i do mean wear it yourself* Added Up, it takes away more than 130 res from your enemy when you wear it (only 80 if your merc wears it, so there is a reason i wear it on myself). so it overpowers most idiots, also the cyclone armor charges are useful... but with infinity, you should do more than an foher and with griffons, take away the same ammount of res so you end up doing a hell of a lot of lighting damage, great against barbs.

    My sorc:
Lighting Damage Varies (Only Max Damage Listed):
    24,000 - 26,000 with Inifinity
    32,000 with Hoto
Max damage I have reached *lvl 88* is 38,000 using 2 sojs, +3 light skill ammy, and a lot of other gear that sacrafices fcr, res, -res in some cases for that small damage.
If your damage is around 30,000, you do not need it any higher because it will serve the purpose of killing your foe in 1-3 hits with luck. Speed and Skillful manovering is everything with a sorc, so in theory, a weak lvl 50 sorc could kill a lvl 90 sorc with luck so do not base things on level, base it on skill. You can not kill what you can not touch! so keep that in mind. Good Luck, Have Fun! -- Toss some points my way if u like it

A nice guide. I would maybe do CL before Nova, and i would rater reach 105% than 200% FCR, since i get get so very much more dmg then. I would guess i could get at least up by 10K.
I would change HotO with a perfect Eschuta's Temper lightning based.

there is a reason for everything i say
1, hoto gives RESISTANCE.... without resistance, other sorcs will slaughter you.
2, Chain lighting is a waste of a skill, it servers no purpose, regular lighting takes less mana, deals more damage and even for countess runs, it will kill faster. Chain lighting is about 2/3 weaker than lighting, 2x mana, kills usually less monsters and is a compleate and total waste for pvp. actually u wouldnt be doing more than 1k less damage at 200% fcr. if u read it carefully, with the gear i ware, i do 32k damage at lvl 86. I have 190 fcr, and if i get a +2 light skills + 10 fcr ammy, i will be able to chase down everyone. yet if u dont have a good connection, i'd suggest staying with 178 fcr because thats the break point for LIGHTING.

looks good. nice going. i dont know how many people will be able to get their hands on an anni charm though....thats a little extreme for any kind of build.

i would rather use sandstorm instead of aldur's... the fire resist is useless since the only effective enemy you'll will encounter is a fb sorc and u'll never be able to handle a 22k fb in your head. with the +15 strenght and +15 vita you get from sandstorm, it's gives a +30 vita = 60 life pts. the 40% fr is useless since u'll be tele'ing all the time. the es pt is a waste since you dont put any pts into energy and if u get hit and u survive it, u won't be able to run away ... it's like u kill yourself. imo es is only usefull when telekinesis is maxed too, like an orb sorc can have. to finish, i would use a P eschuta too..

i dunno, the 50% fire resist really comes in handy but then again treks give some nice all around stats, perhaps use some boots that have some fhr to combine nicely with the spirit shield.... and whats with using infinity on switch.. with a radius of 13.3 yards how much does it really help? id rather use infinity if i had a desert merc to tank the boss or so and then use conv

A breaking point means you cast faster such as if the breaking point is 90fcr and u have 75fcr u need 15fcr to reach 90fcr a breaking pointmore fcr to cast faster if u have 75fcr u will cast the same as 85fcr

that made little to no sense

hmm thats cool my lvl 83 sorc has all synergies for lightning maxed except nova, nova is lvl 6
and i do about 33k damage with lightning so i figure with a little bit better items and when i reach lvl 99 i should do about 40k damage maybe +.

however DO NOT put the rest of the points into vitality trust me u will regret it ,put it into energy/mana. that was my only mistake for the reason a sorc really is meant to be a 1 hit kill so the puting it into vitality is kind of pointless , what u should do is get alot of mana so you dont run out when dueling/pking.

I tried to explain BP as simple as i could sry if you cant understand it

Maybe this explanation will be a little bit more clear (not saying yours wasn't Sushi).

To have a faster cast rate, you must meet or pass a breakpoint. Say you need 125% faster cast rate to reach a breakpoint for a faster cast animation. If the next breakpoint down is 75%, from my understanding, your cast rate won't vary any from 75%-124%, because you aren't reaching the 125% breakpoint. Does that make sense?

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

ya that makes sense, but thats kinda stupid. i guess its kinda hard to create so many different frame rates for each 1% of fcr
