ive thought about a d3 alot, i thought of every possible way to make another one without it bein lame, cant be done.for one simple reason, diablo is ded forever..

there is going to be either a diablo 3 or a 1.11 patch. trayne said that a 1.10b or c patch was coming out in march, and a 1.10 d patch was supposed to come in the summer time. or they just going to make a 1.11 patch. also i heard the wc3 servers are closing in june of this year.

it only took them 2 years for 1.10 because some asshole started the idea, then blizz got extremely lazy and set aside the project, to work on WoW. and they need to make a better d2 game now. starcraft was the first, its had expansions, and now they have starcraft ghost. then warcraft, has the most expansions and games (going from one to three) and now WoW. diablo turned into d2 then LoD, but it has no future as of this moment. if wc3 and sc get this much work then something is in the future for d2, which brings the thought of a d3.

do you honestly think blizzard is going to share its ideas with us? they arent going to tell us of plans of a d3 until about a month before it came out, thats just to maximize profits.

wow your dumb... do you think when LoD was made that blizz was already planning a d3? i like the idea someone else put up yesterday, when the worldstone is blasted to shards, the world becomes unstable, and thusly, extreme evils come out to wreak havoc on the earth.

how about you think about it? do you think this is truly the end of d2 as we know it? its so popular, they arent going to stop it here. and they can always add more acts, but that takes too long for a new patch, its better to just make a d3, same chars, edited moves, more monsters, at least 10 new bosses (make the game long) and at least have it be 8 acts long. its possible. if you cant see a way then thats your belief.

but the worldstone has been destroyed. blizzard can use that to spawn a new expansion pack. and plus, baal's soul stone never got destroyed at the hellforge. now, it could zoom in on baal's soul stone, years later, showing it: then it starts to glow, and you hear this evil voice saying "i will return, i will return..." then all of a sudden, 50 years later, a MASSIVE earthquake/lightning storm (sort of like the titans in mythical stories) will happen and huge mutant boss species thingies will pop out and wreak havoc.

i wanna be standin there with u man but i have gone over it again and again with my self. even thought of a modern day d3,or one thats set in heaven and u walk on clouds but there is just no way, i think bliz really did *** up this time. maby they could get away with it if they bruoght a new one out in say 10 years or so but now there is no way that they could do it wilst ppl still play d2

dude there is always a way. you seem so convinced on this subject that you could probably die for it! there are so many possibilites to make a new patch, expansion pack, or d3. if there's a will, there's a way. if blizzard has some sort of will for a new diablo game, then there will be a way.

dude baals stone was destroyed..... by tyreal have u seen the act 4 movie. plus i have the off d2 guide book (part of package,i am not a noob that needs a book) and it says it in there. NEVER in 10 year when we r still arguin over this subject on here. u will finally give in

um u guys do know that there are more evils out there (i think). they may be lesser evils, but nevertheless they are still evil. i think they can gain power and form their own soulstone. ah, i just found their names: Azmodan and Belial. read BOTH of the guides, diablo I and diablo II. i think it mentions somewhere in one of those guides about these dudes. Azmodan is the Lord of Sin, and Belial is the Lord of Lies. these two i believe wages war upon eachother because they were arguing over which one held higher authority. they could certainly build a story around these characters. mayb they could make up some new ones from the deepest DEEPEST pits of Hell or something like that.

On a different note, some1 in an earlier post mentioned something about how u could pick good or evil. i think that would be pretty funny, seeing Diablo walk around, @ lv.1 with a cracked sword or something like that. mayb at that time he is a little beast, looking something like a zergling or something like that :P

Ok, Diablo died once didnt he....she.....IT! He came back for the second game, Baal might pull the same stunt. When youre the ruler of hell you can do whatever you want. And we must not forget about the infamous Hellfire expansion pack for Diablo 1.

u guys need to think a bit more. diablo never died in number 1, everyone knows that when it 1st came out. its say the soulstone shit at the end of it so we all knew about d2.plus it left hints about baal and meph in the tomes on some lvls. THERE IS NO LOOSE THREADS IN D2.

as for hellfire it was a good exp but it never went net for a reason IT HAD SHIT ALL TO DO WITH DIABLO
