Default ..::NEW CHAR::.. The Spell Breaker

I have made almost all chars in the game i can possible make. Some are good, while other ones is just shit. I wanted to make a new character wich could be used for some purposes, and i came up with this char.
    THE SPELL BREAKER.
I wanted to make a char wich could get rid of some lame townguarding players:

    Trap Assassin
    FoH Paladin
    All sorc
    All necros
    Some amazons
    And some other chars

This char is ment to stay in town, cast a spell and run back again. Yes, its called laming, but so is townguarding and naked killing, so this is my revenge. This sorc can do great in the battlefield, but in hell, she dont have her full power in the field. It takes a while to get used to handle this char, but when you get the grip on it, you will feel the power. Myself i tested this char out in the weekend without skillers, but it worked good. She is level 84 now.

And yes, this is a sorceress.

    Stats:
    Strenght: Enough for eqipment
Dexterity: 125 without eqipment (enough for 87% max block and 100% block rate)
    Vitality: Rest
Energy: 100 (Wich you put on in the start for good mana)

    Skills:
    20 Hydra
    20 Fire Mastery
    20 Fire Ball
    20 Fire Bolt
    1 Energy Shield
Any level after this you can put into telekinesis, but you really dont need higher level if you not gonna be out in the field.

    Gear:
    Helm:
Shako socket with Um or 10-15% resist all juwel
    Weapon:
Wizzardspike socket with 10-15% resist all juwel
    Shield:
    Stormshield socket with Shael
    Armor:
Guardian Angel socket with Um or 10-15% resist all juwel
    Gloves:
    Magefist
    Belt:
    Tundergods
    Boots:
    Sandstorm with good psn resist
    Amulet:
    Rising Sun (Alternative is Mara`s)
    Rings:
    2x SoJ
    On Switch:
    CtA and Lidless(Spirit in ladder)

    Inventory:
10 Fireskillers Grand Charm (Only needed if you want this char to do more dmg)
9 5% resist all small charms (Needed to keep the resist high)
1 Annihilus (If you cant get, use a 5% resist all small charm instead)

Alternative inventory is to fill up with small charms with etc 10%+ cold/fire/light/psn resist.

I hope this will make some people happy. Hydra dmg is 3 times the dmg it says, since 1 hydra is 3 heads.

Edit: Shoud be stormshield, not sanctuary.

interesting but i see your just adding another character that townguards to combat those who townguard. however, its a nice idea. i really dont see much of a problem with townguarding on scnl ueast. i just get my ww barb and kill all elementals.

I dont have any fireskillers or annihilus, so the dmg is around 1500 each bolt the hyrda sends out. There is 3 heads, so, if you stay on a sopt, the dmg is multipled much. I can have 4 1/2 hydra out at the time max, and its enough to scare them. I though the dmg would be to low, but am amazed that the dmg works pretty well. I tested out in hero editor with skillers, just so i would know what the dmg would be, and it was around 4500. So, with skillers, heavy life chars like barbars and paladins wont be that hard either.

But as i sayd, this char is to break the spells of spellcasters. Forcing them to stop town guard. I think its nice just to have this char in case i need it. And belive me, 75% fire resist on a sorc or necro wont matter. They have to move sooner or later, because of hydra. :

    Accually, no.
    Ill try to explain.

    1. You stand in town, running out, then cast 1 hyrda, and run back in.
    2. Cast Another hydra outside town and run back.
    3. If the enemy is dodging, then you have managed her to get unconsentrated by town guarding.
    4. Start casting Hydra in strategic places for so that the enemy cant dodge.
    5. Enemy run away because she is affraid she might die.
    6. People can safely go out and get body, and you can play in the field as a normal player.
    7. Conclution: You shoot people to show them shooting is bad.

    I hope you understand Pantellica.

WHy didnt you just call it you basic Hydra*****. This char + Strategy has been around for months. btw. I have never seen a hydra sorc kill in the 100's ive seen. Also Casters stay at a range, the chance that you hit a caster when they are like 50 feet away is low, they just walk 2 feet to the left. They wouldnt be concentrating too hard. How does this help against trappers? They cast and walk off somewhere. You walk out to cast the hydra and your dead already. 4500 dmg = ez sorb. If my 19k dmg fireclawer can be sorbed pretty easily, then your 4500 is nothing.

Hate to break it to ya, but this is worthless against trappers.

Yep, trappers easily just put traps in front of town, and stand far back off the screen, or they could just move to the side and dodge the hydras easy. Like I said, you don't have to make a build against these types of people, just go through cp, if all your character is good at is townhugging then why bother making it in the first place?

Fuggle, if this was a normal hydra sorc, she would have caster eqipment, right?

You might say that the trap assassin lightning sentry is better, but dont underestimate this build before you tried it out for real.
I dont know if it can take out your fireclaw bear, but i dont care, because this char is ment to get rid of characters with life up to 1500 basicly.

I just have to say it once more:
Dont underestimate it, before you tryed it.

I can see two reasons for why Hydras are underestimated. First of all, the damage qouted is for each Fire Bolt, there are three heads, so they do three times as much damage as qouted. The second reason isn't as well known, Hydras are classified as minions, and therefore only suffer a 50% damage reduction, rather than just above 85% for normal attacks and spells.

I still consider this a basic Hydra Sorceress, but a decent build nonetheless.
