Hm. I was wondering. A lot of people say they get really good deals on trades. But how do you know its a good deal. How do you remember? Do you use a price guide? Which? Some people don't use a price guide? How do you know the current currency? I usually use a price guide but it doesn't have everything I need. What do you guys do?

I usually check around with my friends. In chat channels, people usually have good deals on things. If i can't find a value, i make a game saying that i have the item- then i see the best offer. sometimes you just know the values.

Instinct. I was a great trader in 09 by just listening to who offered what for which item, and eventually learned the ropes. Everyone out there has their preference, so you just gotta go with what you feel is right.

Tipping the scales in your favor in the beginning is always a good start :)

i sometimes listen to whats being offered but doing that in a trade channel now is usually a very bad idea as there are adolescents and morons offering occy for ist (real value=lem) and people who are just too stupid to realize their wrong. what i do is ask my friends, then i enter baal games and as i baal with people i ask them whats the value on x item. then i enter different baal games and ask again, the most common value is the one i use for trading an item.

Ppl will come in and offer....Then ull have a rough idea on whats it worth...

take the highest offer after u search around or if you've been playing long enough you can just tell if a trade is good or not
