Default Locating duped sojs easily, efficiently and accurately!

Here is a very usefull thing ive come across: How to locate duped sojs.
This guide will require dan goon's c3po maphack. Can be found in the hack download section of this site.

    1. In the c3po mh, go to the key config tab, and enable all the little stats in the bottom right box. Click on save settings.

    2. Look at you're sojs:

    Normal (non-duped) soj:

    Duped soj:

This is how you tell (i know my sojs are orange, i configured my c3po to re-color uniques to orange):
Immediately before the item name, there are 2 settings: L and Q.

L is the monster lvl that the item dropped from, and Q is the item lvl. Notice how Q always stays the same, and L differs? Thats because Sojs are lvl 39, and any monster with the same or higher lvl can drop it. Notice on the duped soj, how the L is LOWER then the item lvl? Normally, a lvl 5 monster cant drop a lvl 39 item.

Im almost 100% sure that all duped sojs have a "drop" lvl of 5, but if any of them is lower then the item lvl (39), dont trade for em, as its just about 100% certain that they are duped.

I really hope this helps, and once i can afford it i will sticky this thread (not that there isnt enough, but this is usefull). If an admin finds this usefull and decides to sticky it, well it'll make my life easier!
If its already been discovered, at least now its re-surfaced so at least some people wont get disapointed when their sojs p00f!

If the guide is unclear (sort of doubt it, kinda explained everything), tell me where and il strive to fix it!

IF THIS GUIDE IS AGAINST THE RULES OF THIS FORUM, PLEASE TELL ME ASAP SO I MAY DELETE IT!!!

Wow, cool, but I haven't come across a duped soj yet, and I was beginning to wondering if you could dupe them.

im pretty sure thats not true. Its obvious the lvl 5 poofs, but i didnt actualy say that SOME others wouldnt. Maybe it poofed before you checked and are just guessing?? oh well just try it out, find some that are above and im pretty sure that they wont poof. the 5 WILL poof though, so get rid of em.

actualy the lvl 5 is the monster lvl, and you said the item lvl was 88. Sojs are only 39, so maybe it duped because of that?

the lvl monster that dropped it can be pretty much anything if its from 1.09, if its duped the drop lvl wont change, the only things ive seen that are duped/bugged is the sig belt and tal armour, the belt has a dropped lvl of 0 lol

Since nobody has said anything about what they REALLY are, I will. Any soj with an ilvl lower than it's Qlvl is from version 07-08 (and maybe 09, im not entirely sure). Back then, if you held a manald and a nagel ring as you gambled, a unique ring you gamble will always be an SOJ. All the low ilvls are from low lvl character mules that gambled. (Gamble something and the ilvl with be + or - 5 lvls of your character)

Theres the story. Oh, And most sojs are duped anyway, just had to clear the ilvl part up.
