looking for a few good MUDS:

I used to play the best mud ever...a little thing called Phidar.com:9000 written in SMAUG, thats right SMAUG and it was still the best text-MUD that i have ever seen.

I loved to mud before the main dude closed the thing down...i was sad even to the point where i searched for other muds but to no avail.

Problem was the mud had a parser that was unbelievable, tutorials that would make you as proficient as a veteran player in a few hours, room descriptions that really had some thought put into them, and an ascii map, all of which ruined me for life for all other muds ive ever played.

What i was wondering is maybe someone knows of a good mud somewhat like im describing. I would be quite interested in firing up the old Zmud and giving a good mud a shot.

Also might be interested in collaborating or helping code for a mud, im already quite familiar; however, quite rusty with SMAUG, as i was so inspired by Phidar that i attempted to create my own mud which didnt fly very well because i was on dialup at the time and didnt have the time or patience to really put any work into it.
