    Default Chaucer poem

    Love is not love
    Which alters when it alteration finds
    Or bends with the remover to remove:
    O, no! It is an ever-fixed mark
    That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
    It is the star to every wandering bark,
    Whose worths unknown, although his height be taken.
    -Chaucer

    Just so everyone knows, I broke up with Brittany and I'm very happy about it...Life has never been better. We're best friends, and will continue to be best friends. And yes, I cried.

    Man that sucks. Well at least your happy...that counts for something. By the way that poem is one of my personal favorites.

    Hehe, April Fools. That was classic. I was in her room last night removing my stuff from her room, so that she could get over me and not be sad...I found that poem written on a slip of paper on the ground, and I collapsed and sobbed for about 10. That was pitiful. 5 months, 17 days...

    The relationship was based on sex (how could it not be? My God.) and she didn't want that and I (while I did really want it) didn't really want it. So we split up, and cried and b1tched for a while, and then realized that we could be best friends, since there was no enmity between us..just sex. So we're best friends, which means the relationship in essence remains, without the temptation of sex. Since I can't bang my best friend, it's wrong. *shrug* it was mutually consensual, so it's not like one of us is at fault.

    Seems to be a common thread in dieing relationships these days. Never the less teen pregnancy rates are down for the first time in a long time. Go figure.
