I wanna know your opinions on those two articles. I think it's total bullshit, and they will never know what we really think. A lot more is going on than they know or think, and they're stupid to presume they know teenagers.

agreed. There is no way they can say they know everything about us by reading a few emails.

Yeah, that's a load of bullshit. Trying to describe an age group itself is almost impossible, and describing the teenage group is even harder. Really, MSN, stop trying, we're too complex for you.

i have to say i aint no teen ne more but im still young at heart at the age of 25 i dont feel i have changed all that much, sure im a little more mature then i used to and sure i have way more responsibiliitys then b4, but i dont think that i have changed all that much and i remeber that when i was like 15 years old (i was still a virgin) i wanted to have sex so bad that i almost rapped my gf btu didnt dont worry. anyways I think i was very hypocritel about a lot of stuff especially towards adults even if they would say it stays between the both of us or whatever i told him/her what they wanted to know but definitely i wasnt like that when i was young(refferring to the article)

    Owned!

I hate people who print articles like that, just a bunch of bulshit. And you dont even have to know anything to do it, hell, I could write a 3 page report on anything.

Such a generalizing, biased, parent friendly piece of shit.

worst part is that most parents that read that WILL BELIEVE IT.

What stereotyping. They think that were all the same. Maybe some of us are but thats a low percentage of teenagers. I'm not influenced by my friends in a bad way and vice versa. And I've been "aggressive" since I was a pre-teen. Those articles are just writin for parents can think they have the upperhand on their kids somehow.

    First Paragraph:
"Maybe somewhere tucked in your son's sock drawer is what you may think is contraband. No, not drugs, but photos -- photos of your son and his friends doing some stunts normally reserved for television shows such as Jackass, Fear Factor, or Wild Boyz. Maybe they're jumping off 50-foot quarry walls or grinding a skateboard down a flight of stairs. Blame the hormones. Along with testosterone, vasopressin makes your son seek out groups of people in which to compete. Boys are more likely to take risks in order to best their friends."

    Second Paragraph:
"For the most part, these stunts are healthy."

Obviously, the people writing these things are idiots.

Yeah, I wondered about that too. I mean, can't YOU jump 50 vertical feet and land like a cat? I know I can...

Heh, yeah.. 15 year olds think about sex all day long but aren't doing it..

Man, I also stash Jackass-worthy material in my socks in my drawer. One day.. ah, let them dream

    oh dear
i fear someone will find the picture in my sock drawer of me shooting myself in the head
these writers arent writing about stuff they actually see, they're writing about stuff supposedely heard from friends of friends and some they embellish from their own imagination to make the article more attractive
sometimes i think parents are the stupid ones, not stupid as in unintelligent, but stupid as in they are stuck in their stupid little dream world.
some people do take risks and challenges to best their friends but not to the extent they are implying. maybe every once in a while some guys will be at taco bell and dare one another to drink the hot sauce but these writers can extend that into a stereotype. i mean, if everybody contributed a dime to a charity, that's a lot of money, but the person still only contributes one dime. hopefully you understand where i am trying to get with that metaphor

Perhaps Junior is experimenting with new, four-letter vocabulary choices.
    F**'in Bull****

Seriously, the editors of those texts have no life. Sure, some of it may be true, but THEY HAVE DONE IT THEMSELVES, and they came out (well sorta) clean.
