ok.... i had a friend from DIIS for like 2 weeks and he was rushin me and his hammerdin had no gear so i let him borrow mine, and what does he do?

Lol, was probably some banned guy or someone who knows about this site that isn't in it. Apparently he probably IS in this site or used to be and posed as logic (musik). Because I doubt that Logic would do that.

And it's also very stupid of you to trust a guy like that, if you just gave him your gear because he had dIIS in his name.

blows man, i hate lamers who yoink gear. i made a botd-tmaul (first ladder lol, i had a shifting druid fetish.. fury baby). 396% is what it ended up, non-superior ethreal tmaul. i knew this guy for like 9 months, and hes like 'let me try this on my ik baba'

so i'm like, alright chad, you're cool.

he runs. he said he was jealous because i always identify SoJs or something. some people are just mega****s and deserve to die. don't amke the same mistake twice. i don't even ask to borrow gear most of the time because.. well, i KNOW i won't steal gear because if i want it that bad i'll ebay it (yes, and I admit I would ebay items if I wanted them), but it puts your friend in an awkward position when you ask to borrow shit.. its lame.

don't be scared to be an *** and not let people use your stuff.

Yeah, that's Zak on the forums, and I really haven't had trust issues with him... But you guys don't have to tell me about untrustworthy. Here's my story: Okay, I had just started playing again and I really didn't have a lot of stuff, so this guy in a Baal run gave me a shako. Pretty cool. So I add him to my friend's list and we begin playing together with practically everything, baal runs, mfing, rushing each other and the like and I really got to trust him, after all, I did xfer a load of my stuff, a lot of it expensive with him. Well, I decided to make a Zon and I'm getting it rushed and he's like 'Hey man, I don't have a lot to do, I could level it for you for some crafting shit'... And seeing as I had known this guy for a month, I changed my password and poof. I realize how stupid I was for making that decision, but it was a guy I thought I could trust and it was also really late at night, so I hardly thought twice about it.

My account was stripped of everything but the most worthless items and I managed to get him to give me a few items back, but they were all low, like gores and shakos.. But yeah, there's my story behind my third leave of D2. And I'm contemplating a fourth leave, because it's getting boring.

eh..i got stolen from three times by good friends. First one was a friend i had played with for a few months, we were just messin around with the drop game as we did alot, but we always gave the stuff back. Anyways he got my hoto enig and botd, and i never saw those again. Second was an xfer, a lot of stuff, my whole lvl 85 barb gear including eth valor, botd, enigma, sojs, 40/15 ss and arreats, etc., all gone. i had played with that guy for 5 months. Third and last was once again all my barb gear by another "good friend"..almost same stuff with some others..i know this guy for a long time as well. But whatever, i managed to get myself up again but then quit because of lack of interest. I just started again and all my chars expired, none of my friends play anymore, so im s.o.l for a while.

But yea that sucks man, but youll earn the stuff back eventually.

well, little advicec to ya'll, when some asks u to "lend him" all ur chars stuff, 90% chance he will steal ur stuff. the 10% remaining are the frreinds u know in reallife and who know u will beat the shit outta them if they steal it. and xfering entire chars is also an dumb thing, xcpet with a real friend. so if u wanna xfer items to chars on same account just open a windowed mode (for 90% less crashing) enter a game, click stash, drop ur item, leave, comback with other char, and take. i do this always and the only times i lost items was when i opened in full screen mode and crashed.

Not really true. When you're a net nerd like I, you develop friendships worthy of IRL status. I've paypal'd a good friend 100$ (internet, mind you) because he was in a rut in life, and I got every penny back. However, there are only twopeople online I trust like that. Honestly, at this point in life, if I had an enigma or whatever, and someone wanted it THAT bad, i'd just give it to em. Whatever though, I guess i'm growing humble with age
