How do you use downloads?

I downloaded the mf sorc but I can't figure out how do use the file what do I do once I have downloaded it?

After you download the character file you go to your diablo 2 directory then the save folder and you just drag the character files into that folder.

The downloaded characters will not work on closed b.net just to tell you in case you didn't know.
