The thread was too old. I had to remake it because no one could post in it.

For the render in this sig (vitriolic hatred sig), i cut it out, put it on top of all the layers except the coloration layers etc, set it to (i think) luminosity, and then applied a layer mask (learned this one from anferny), got out a brush, 100% opac, black, and brushed out the left half so it looks blended. VOILA! Sometimes on the render layer, i hit "Q" to go to quick mask, then use a gradient, hit Q again, and delete. It blends well.

yes i have psp 8 and was wondering if someone could get me some good beginer tutorials...i cant find any because everyone uses... photoshop.. but i think there basically the same...

From Jedi: There is a little known site called google.com. Go there and search for psp 8 tutorials, and it'll magically search the online database and give you links for psp 8. *ssshhhh* don't tell the public i don't want them to know about this awesome site.

you can add a layer mask by hitting the button on the layer toolbar that says add layer mask, lol. when you're in the layer mask, you can take out a brush and it's kind of like erasing the render.

I'm looking for a tut on how to make the inner letters of text appear transparent, so only the outline shows. Or is that just the font, 'cuz I have seen some fonts like that too.

Hey guys. I looked around but I couldn't find a tut for this so hopefully someone will make one. How do I do the "shining light" animation on text? Like in some sigs, a light shines across the text. Like it starts from the left side and goes to the right. I think murderman24's sig is like that. How do I do that? Thank you.
