well i have a lvl 97 pally and when i ha dit in my inventory and died cause i tried just to see i still had the same amount oof exp so jedimaster idk what lvl you are but it happened to me i was missing this much exp | | and after i died im still missing this much exp | | so i would say yes it prevents you from loosing exp, im not saying it dosent do nothing else but it wont let you loose exp. and you probably all know that at lvl 97 when you die you usually loose like this much exp |.......... |

That Tyrael guy in that thread veck posted seems to be hodling out a little bit too much, not showing any evidence of his discovery. I read like the first three pages and skipped to the last two. This one of his posts seemed to be important, even if it is complete bs. and just so you know although i did not read their thread, the clan_iraq he refers to was another thread on the b.net forums that had complete bs that ppl seemed to beleive; they were the first to try and corrupt peoples minds by messing with them about some false thing in the new patch.

Ok, first off, I am not clan_iraq. That, is a crazy assumption.

Second, I don't really care about fame or glory on a game, such as Diablo. Now, you guys want to know the reward from the Standard, well, here it is, you get a great animation at the end, answers mostly all your questions. After all that, you get handed a charm, called a "Hero's Charm." Now I know about 30 sec after I post this, you all are going to want evidence of this, well, I am not going to give any, because frankly, why should I spoil what is in store for you? By telling you the stats of this charm, you not only know what your going to be getting, but I would be ruining the purpose of Diablo for you! By saying all that, you have to have [5] Standards to perform this. Yes, it is in Act 4. Yes it does involve another "quest" item in the game. Which one? You figure it out, I've revealed enough already. Have fun, and remember, it's only a game!

uh just to clear thing up guys, soh isnt a normal item, its a unique, but yet doesnt need to be identified
it makes the sound of a charm, but yet doesnt write "keep in inv to get bonuses"
has absolutly no known stats and has lvl 90 req
it takes up 1x1 but when u drop it its as big as a staff
and no it doesnt unlock some secret area in river
ITS NOT A CHARM GODAMNIT!! charms usually have stats..
its like the prime evil keys, they make the sound of a key but cant open chests

my opinion is that it must be cubed with an item to do sumtin

I've heard so much talk of this standard of heroes, but what is it?

SoH, is an inventory thing that you must have in order to make new runewords. Some say it allows you to not lose EXP when dying, but thats not true. [That is what I have heard, someone tell me it's wrong, please.]

i just read a few postes on that. i noticed this thing, knowing that "Speical spot" is quite hard to find, and knowing that things to open portals in the patch 1.10, is uselly exact same, and also knoing that u need that "Something" used as a portal u can buy off merchants to "make" that portal. That would b my assumtion, not true but try it. it may take a while but notice that guy says that u ned 3 + soh and that if a cube can only fit 12 slots. Meaning if u try combos lik. 11 soh, 1 scroll, 10 soh 1 tome, 12 soh, 3 soh 1 tome, 4 soh 1 tome and so on. this is MY guesss dont think i know much, because i have been quite interested back to d2, about the new things. i myself havent been though even getting 1 key to open that uber trist. then again i am trying my best to do so with out maphack.

if ppl didnt understand wat i had said up there. its simply. U do wat u do to open cow portal. i have alrdy traded my terror key for a soh, and that i will b needing at least 3 more. i was thinking 4 - 11 soh r needed. not as that blizz fourm said. 4-40. impossible. u cannot trigger ANYTHING i mean ANYTHING with just ur inv . and yet thats y we have a cube with 12 slots avalible to trigger things. i wil also think that none of those other QUEST items from 1.10 and back will b needed excapt the cube. know that , the patch itself has many secret quest items.

hey guys i've been back but haven't posted here for a while. Someone have an update on how this thing has been going? i am currently getting 3 more sohs so i will have 5. (Tyrael on b.net forums said you need 5.) I am also searching for that area too. Leave me some updates thanks.
