Pasting an image instead of a text name? Help please

How do you have an image pasted instead instead of just typing your name?
Oh and how does signaturing work...

Noob to forums here, help if you can

If you want to paste an image, first right click the image and go to Properties. Then copy the address to the image by selecting the address and either right-clicking and selecting copy, or you can select the address and hit CTRL+C. Afterwards go to wherever you want to paste your image and either right-click and hit paste, or you can hit CTRL+V to paste.

With a signature, I see you went into the USER/CP place and went into the "Edit your signature" section. Once you get here, first in the signature space "[img]" (without the quotes). Afterwards place the link to the signature (a popular uploader to upload your sig is http://www.imageshack.us/, when your there first find your file and upload it, and use the "direct link to image" link which should be near the bottom). After placing the link to the image, type in "[/img]" (once again without the quotes), and then click OK to submit that signature and you're done!

A signature is an image or text that will appear below every post that you make in a forum (if it is activated, there is an option to not post a signature with each post if you choose not to show it); basically theres not much else to say about it but that. In the graphics section on this forum be have both an signature request thread, and a signature showoff thread (make sure you follow the rules there, though). Also, i know you have questions here so its cool, but please don't create a post just saying that your signature testing; if you want you can post your signature in the showoff thread, and that would kind of be like a check.
