What did i do wrong with d2loader??

I followed a post on this forum step by step and now i am getting this error when i try to log onto battle.net. "unable to identify version", For more info please visit battle.net/support/error messages"

did you upgrade your d2 to 1.11 before trying it?

yes i updated it the d2loader.exe works but the edited shortcuts wont. I can load both d2loader.exe and the old diablo ii.exe(copyed my diabloii folder) but it still says the cd key is in use.

Get d2loader.exe for V1.11
Upgrade to v1.11
Put d2loader.exe for v1.11 into C;/program files/diabloii
Overwright diabloii.exe "if u wont if not move it"


And your ready to go.



if anything goes wrong u have
1.wrong version on d2loader
2.not on the same version as d2loader suck as being 1.10 and loading 1.11 loader
