Default Exact Warden Details? Is D2Loader detectable?

I've read around on various forums of various sites, and have yet to find a detailed explanation as to how Warden actually works. I know its supposed to scan the memory to see if another program is modifying D2 memory, but the best I could find was a few obscure and vauge posts with very bad grammar and syntax from which I was able to decipher very little.

    Can anyone enlighten me? :)

The reason I ask is because I an a D2Loader fan, but am VERY worried that D2Loader users will be banned simply for using D2Loader (which I don't consider a hack, but alas, I'm sure Blizzard would) I have a few keys and its infinitely easier to xfer between accounts with D2Loader, as well as rush my own characters and level them too.

Would Warden be able to detect D2Loader? Has anyone been banned or know a definitve answer? Any information would be greately appreciated!

i doubt it would. d2 loader isnt harrasing the TOA u agreed to ON CREATION OF A BATTLE.NET ACCOUNT, and henceforce u shouldnt get banned for using it

    Default Hmm...

That's what I thought, it doesn't give anyone an unfair advantage like map hack does, but then again it does allow you to play D2 using a copy of a CD instead of the original CD, or no CD at all. However, if you use a virtual drive emulator like Alcohol or CDSpace, then you would be able to do this anyways (I use Alcohol, CD lag is SO annoying).

In any case, I will stay away as much as I can from D2Loader for a few weeks, and see how it goes. If no bannings related to it occur, I'll keep using it. Until then I'll only using it sparingly when xfering.......

Thanks for your replies guys :)
