What is best class and build to MF?

What would be the best class and the best build for it to magic find?

I would say a Sorceress with Full Tals. Probaly a cold or lightning one cause in hell they r all immune to fire.

orb sorc...some people would say hammerdin but i think they are too expensive to make good

i also like full tals for my mfers

imo orb is better than blizz because orb will hit about 3-4 times per 1 blizz hit. orb can also clear out an entire screen of monsters in 1 cast.

I've heard that barbarians have a higher "natural" magic find.
I dont know if thats true or not... so.. *shrugs*

Im thinkin Bliz sorc or a Meteorber. meteorber is less killing speed, but can run pindle, and pure bliz sorc ownz mephisto, you really have to decide what type of runz you prefer, and how well your chacter stacks up against some enemies IE: my necro mfer tends to stay as far away from meph runs as possible, because his stupid liches decimate my minions. If you find yourself comfortable with blizzarding, running, blizzrding then by all means. Im just saying, you shouldnt form to the mfer, the mfer should form to you.

on a more direct note, i would say Orber on pit runz. very straight forward, nice croud control (you need) and excellent damage outpout, andd in some very sexy tight corrideors too :).

Actually, i believe characters have a hex code refering to base mf as a sort of multiplier, as ive had sorces with 600+ mf get nothing and hell and, actually quite recently, a necro summoner find a perf alli baba with only about 62% mf.:

what the barb natural mf thing might be referring to is the barb skill find item, which gives you a 2nd chance to get an item from each monster you cast it on. i could be wrong thou

side note: this skill does not work on bosses, eg meph, but does work on uniques and super uniques

ive found an orber to do very nicely with backup nova have tals armor(isted) tals ammy and tals belt an occy (ist) rhyme or that other one that gives to mf forgot name make it with eth lum war travs chancies nagels the thing is u gotta have a good merc to tank for u i own andy meph pindle and can pretty much do a hell rush if i wanted except for travincal this sorc owns i have cta on back up and i use energy sheild and i have lots of mana ive used this sorc for about 4 yrs now and have had no problems throughout ne patches

Those who use tal set are soooooooooo stupid, you cand never get hery high MF with it. It is good only for a noob mfer.Instead the folowing equip lets you get humongus MF

Shako with Perf topaz = 74
Skulders with perf topaz = 123 if ur max lvl
Perf Blade of ali baba with 2 ist = 159
2 perfect nagelrings = 60
Rare Amu with 30 Mf FCR and SK = 30
Milabega shield with ist = 45
Perf war traveler = 50
Perf chanceguard = 40

Also keep in your inv a ferf Gheed wich gives 40 Mf and the rest small MF chams
This will grand you minimum of 621 Mf without other small chams wich you can't get with any other equip

Blizz and meteor work perfect both and your main target should be Mephisto. He is so easy to kill with a sorc you dont even get one hit.

Only a problem here that i play on a private server on wich map hack is legal, on bttle.net is is harder to teleport to mephisto and lure him over the river beacause you dont see the cuncil to avoid them and you might get hit by them. Anyway she is still the best

i've found i can get 500+ mf with tals and imo that is more than enough

My old sorc had full tals with all p topaz in it and shee had 450+ mf plus with half the inventory full of mf charms which added up to 123 which = together 573. And yes that is more than enough.

what eraven obviously don't understand is if u use tal rashas armor with a ptopav in it thats 112 mf the belt if its perfect is 15 %mf and with the ammy that adds and extra 65% mf so that adds to 192% just from those three plus u get resists from tal rashas armor decent def plus 2 skills from the ammy using occy with ist in it gives 80%mf plus three skills and other good mods as well u see its only good to have good mf if u can kill people fast too i bet i could do 5 meph runs in the time it taks u to do one and i have over 650%mf i don't have to use the moat trick i just use a merc to tank and i can do all bosses with the sorc setup above ez as well

Bytheway i forgot to add the belt, goldwrap is the best. And this belt with a 30 mf amu and skulders offers more mf than tal combination. But youre right in a way, almost noone on the server i play uses skulders, all use tal. I only seen one that uses skulders 2.

Go ahead, Sing the praises of the sorceress, but barbarians bring the true money in. FInd Item is an awesome way to get HUGE surpluses of good items, especially if you feel ripped. If you get 2x 'IstIst' perf Alibabas on switch, a barb can easily pull off unimaginably high numbers of MF. Remember, if you barb mf, use ur good weapon first, then switch to twin alis to deal the killing blow, and if your merc has mf, if he kills the monster his MF stacks wih yours... think, 3 more inventory slots of mf... what could ya do with that????
