Add more options to the poll next time. Im my opinion, pantera shouldn't even be up there. Metallica > pantera.

Don't say that, Dyna. Pantera had it, so did Metallica. They BOTH should be up there. Along with Deep Purple. They helped originate it, too. As stated

I don't think deep purple should be up there, but metallica should. So should priest.

Honestly I haven't listened to a lot of Deep Purple... I don't know why, but I just don't like the band since this guy (who I dislike greatly) in one of my classes keeps talking about that one "Smoke on the Water" riff... Over and over and over again. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

i like old school metal like metallica, black sabbath... and so on but also i like alot of different types of music

The only new band I've heard recently that I like is 3 inches of blood. Iced earth has been pretty reliable althought I haven't listen to much of their stuff. More importantly, instead of talking about which bands shouldn't/ should be on there, lets talk about how much other music sucks

1989 <-- And what about Testament and Slayer? Haven't listened to much Slayer though, I've just started to dl Reign in Blood. I've dl'd Testament's Legacy, and so far I think they're great.
